Brooke with the teacher, I disliked as well. He was horrible.

100% agree. I felt that way while watching the first time, it is why I did not even think of shipping them until season 2. I would say it wasn't until season 3 actually even if I liked them in season 2, I found myself cheering for them. Season 1, I felt like I wanted to grab an actual Stop Sign, jump through the TV screen, plant it in front of them and tell them to slow down and stop all together temporarily.

Of course the guy couldn't stay, Monster couldn't have competition.

I felt that way too sometimes, that things were rushed. But then I think about Season 3 when Haley returned and Nathan wanted to split up. I think it they weren't married, they would have broken up and it would have been probably a good season or so before they got back together.

I think them being married and having to wait until being able to go through a divorce made them realize what they really had was worth fighting for
