It would be nice to know. I bet an answer we'd receive is for the fans... wanting to keep the series going for the loyal fanbase. It would make sense because the fans have been brought up before... used as a reason why they didn't expose him very early on.

I just think Brooke had way more pain and hate in her heart given what happened with Lucas. She was broken, like literally done given all the hell she experienced with Lucas.

She had some issues with Julian but they worked things out. She was so happy and at peace in the end. I don't know.

That said, I can see your point, I understand now why you don't like Brooke/Julian.

I mean Lucas treated her so badly that she was afraid of falling in love and she still had problems in S7 because of how he treated her.
