Karaoki night in Stars Hollow....Lorelai singing "I will always love you"...Luke walks in...Lorelai stammers...looks at Luke lovingly and continues to sing. Luke looks sheepishly pleased.

I just rewatched that scene and was blown away like I was watching it for the first time. Lauren plays that scene to absolute perfection. Lorelai's casual and fun right until Luke walks in. Suddenly her demeanor completely changes... she's a nervous wreck and then gradually goes all emotional. It's such a terrific moment. Luke absolutely knows she's essentially singing to him and he responds in an emotional Luke Danes sort of way right back. I love how the others in the audience all turn around and look at Luke.
Spectacular scene. It was THIS scene that made me 100% convinced my pairing was going to reunite before the series concluded, too.  |

So....one of the things I do in my Jamberry business is facebook parties, with lots of "guess the..." kinds of games. I just found this 'Guess the Gilmore Girls character' game and thought it would be fun to do in here.

One episode to go. Chris showed up again...thought he was gone for good.  Lorelai and Luke are acting ridiculous again. Rory said, "No." Good. |
