Everwood Fans on Gilmore Girls #5: What season are you watching? Let's discuss!

We can compare/contrast Everwood to Gilmore Girls in the future but for now, let's talk Revival! :yay:

Update: The Revival is now well underway so Betty and I have decided to lift the spoiler tag rule.

Changing this thread back to spoilers/speculation now!

Looking forward to discussing! :D

Very interesting about your mom. Her history absolutely has an effect on her. It is funny she hates her, lol. The triangle was stupid. I can actually see why Dean was pissed initially.

I have always been interested in how are experiences determine how we read/view a text.

Absolutely.

I am so, so excited for next Friday!!! I hope I don't get any interruptions so I'm able to watch it all in one day.

I don't know any spoilers, so I'm going to keep it that way since it's only 11 days away!!

Randomly started rewatching some S6 over the weekend and I'm pumped!

I share your excitement! I can't wait to discuss and talk about it. :D

Are you watching alone or with anyone?

Jamie 11-16-2016 08:42 AM

I think I'm going to watch alone! I just picture myself sitting on the couch with my dog, online shopping (for Black Friday stuff), and watching this all day.  Sounds like an awesome day.

However, two of my closest friends are also really pumped, so if they end up wanting to watch some together, I might.

How about you?

You literally just described my situation above. Me and my Buddy on the couch in silence and peace watching while refusing to go out for Black Friday but going online shopping instead. Perfect!

The only other possibility is two Cleveland friends coming into town early next week and staying for Thanksgiving and the entire weekend. It's about a 50/50 situation. They both love Gilmore Girls too!

I will prob end up watching spurts. I want to watch with my mom but she tends to be slower. So, I may end up watching it all myself then rewatch with her.

The hubs has to work next Friday (and he's not a GG fan anyway - I know, right?) so I'm thinking it'll be alone on the couch for most of the day, my big dilemma being pizza or chinese?

I like the way you think, Shu! :high_five:

 That's what Lorelai and Rory would do, they'd eat both and more.

 I know! Unfortunately I have a much weaker stomach than either of the Gilmore Girls do. Seriously. How did they eat four Thanksgiving dinners? :lmao:

Knowing Lorelai and Rory, they'd have pizza, Chinese, donuts, and ice cream. (Maybe some pie too if Luke had any left??)
