Yep this phone is like mini computer. I set it also up to check my work email. I get notifications whenever I receive mail. Oh I even put application to remind me to drink water so that I won't get dehydrated . There is so much stuff in these phones that I wouldn't go on without them.

My mother's mobile plan was about to expire and she had to upgrade it. When we do this there are phones on promotion. So I got myself in this way new phone while my mother expanded her contract to another 2 years.

Sounds interesting.

Me too . Alan keep up this way and soon the work day will be over!

Jerry
how are you feeling now? Is it getting better?

My cousins in Florida live in the Tampa and Sarasota areas. I haven’t visited there in years though. One of my cousins always asks me when I'm coming to visit, so we need to do that.

I'm feeling better now Koni. Thanks for asking.

Koni, that's so great and what a deal! Great about the water reminder. Does the keyboard fold out or is it big enough that you don't need that?

Alan.

Jerry, you should take a trip to Florida.

Glad you are feeling better! How has your foot been?

Yes, I need to.

The operation on my left foot wasn't as successful as the operation on my right foot, so I still have some pain in the left toe joint where I don't have any pain in the right toe joint, but I won't need any further surgery for at least a few more years. Thanks for asking.

Thanks for the new thread, Michelle. Leave for the day and this is what happens! The posting on this board alone can support several other boards for a month!

Jerry...try to get closer with your sisters. I've always wanted siblings...and envy those that have them.

Michelle...sounds like a great trip you have planned. Have a wonderful time.

Alan,
You are hilarious!

Koni, I missed a lot of posts...sorry if this was already answerd. Did the doctors ever find out why you had high level protein.

That's good, Jerry, about the delay in surgery but it's so unfortunate about the unsuccessful surgery. What do you do for the pain?

I'm not going away...Just got back!

My son Chris and his girlfriend are coming over for dinner tomorrow night and we're going to have a belated birthday celebration for her.

Saturday and Sunday are still up in the air.

Yes, I should try more Betty, but my sisters and I have very opposite personalities and I find them hard to talk to or relate to. I’ll give you an example: We used to send each other Christmas gifts every year, but one year my youngest sister called and said that our other sister couldn’t afford to send us a gift, so we stopped sending each other gifts. That same year, however, the sister “who couldn’t afford to send us a gift anymore” went with her husband and son to the Super Bowl! That “poor” sister also has two houses, one in Montvale and one in Tom’s River that was given to her and her husband by his parents when they retired to Florida, and they also have a Time Share in Florida, so I don’t buy the excuse that my sister, who I know has a lot of money, couldn’t afford to send us a Christmas gift anymore. Despite that edict, she still expects me to send money to her son for his birthday and Christmas! My youngest sister, as always, went along with what my other sister wanted and she doesn’t send us gifts anymore either.

I don’t really have pain in the left toe joint, Michelle, but when I move it, I can feel everything crunching, which I don’t feel with the right toe joint. The surgery was supposed to get rid of that crunching, and it did in the right foot, but it didn’t in the left foot.

Did the same surgeon do both toe joints and if so, does he/she have any explanation for it?

.
Poor people don't live in Montvale! Sounds like these sisters do have "interesting" personalities and just don't want to send you a gift..but are willing to accept gifts for their kids Wow. I agree....that's kind of annoying! I sure hope you at least get a thank you note from your nephew!

Yes, the same surgeon did both operations, but I haven't had a chance to talk to him about it yet. I'm going to go and see him next month.

"Interesting" is a nice way of phrasing it! Yes I do get a thank you note from my nephew.

You really should, surgeons are not perfection miracle workers but at the same time, you also didn't have brain surgery either. You would think the operation should be highly successful both times.

Chris's favorite Syrian dish: Stuffed grape leaves.
