Everwood Creative Awards
Fanart Contest

Michelle and I were discussing how creative the people on this board were and we thought we could organize a Creative Contest.

Principle :
You can participate by submitting any kind of fanart work such as :

Banners, Icons, Wallpapers,
Fanfic, Poem, Essay
Music, Music Video etc.

Anything you would make as long as it relates to Everwood AND the winter theme.

An Award will be attributed to the most creative and quality work.

Judging

1. Fanart submitted will be judged by the Moderators of the Everwood Board, with a potential guest judge(s) if we feel the task cannot be done by us alone or if one of the mod decide to enter the round so that awards could be judged fairly.
2. Judges will choose ONE creative work to win the best creative piece. However, awards of merits could be given to extremmely dedicated, original and creative work that didn't win the first prize.
Awards could be granted in the different categories depending on the number of submissions.

Rules

You can only submit up to 5 fanart items Except for Icons where you can submit more (see note below).
Please only submit your own work, not those of other people.
In case your submission is hosted on an external website, the link you're providing must be valid during all the submission process.

Note : In case of icons, we will consider that 5 icons represent 1 submission. Please note that judging will be done for a pack of 5 icons and not for just one.

Awards
The Winner(s) will be awarded a banner.
If the winner is up for it, his/her work could also be used in one of the first post of this board.

A Wall of Fame would be created on this thread to present all winners for every round.

Winter Round

General Inspiration Theme : Snow (or more generally winter)
Inspiration Quote : "Snow's something to say that when it falls down like this, it's like time stops"

Note on theme : We hate when theme or challenges are restricting the inspiration. Therefore, We won't be too picky on the theme.
The theme is here to get you inspired, and not give you too much boudaries. Theme is just a direction for your work but it's not meant to be strict.
The inspiration quote is just what it is, something that could help you get inspired but, that doesn't necesseraly mean that you HAVE to include this sentence in your work.
Get inspired with the theme (but don't go too far along either, lol).

Alex, this looks incredible. Make no mistake about it, everyone, Alex conjured this up, not me. Give her the credit and due to it's creative style I'm sure you could already figure that out without me having to say as much either. LOL

I know there's several art makers over here. Lots of them.

If you have reasons for not submitting, please explain them so we can eventually change the rules or deadline

The theme rule could totally be changed if you think it's keeping you from creating or submitting something

This is a attempt and if we can make it better, we will

Let me remind you this contest is open for ANY kind of art. Whether you're making Music Videos, Banners, Fanfics, Poems, Music, Wallpapers, ANYTHING.

Okay, this contest didn't have a great success

. But nevermind.

I'd like to thank Amont for participating and I encourage you all to listen to what he came up with, it's a really nice piece if you're in love with Ephramy.

Amont, here's a little somethin' for participating:

I really liked your piece, a variation around Ephramy theme, it's very beautiful and nostalgic and totally Everwood. Totally moves me. I listen to it often actually You didn't go too far into improvisation like you did with other pieces of you I listened too but I liked how you handles the "movement" still. Very beautiful, indeed. Thank you.
