I may not always comment on this thread but I really enjoy being in the loop about Everwoodians. Lord know I need my Greg fix every now and then.

I really appreciate what you are doing with this thread.

Sure, no problem. Cool. Yeah, me neither. Argh.
Well, I recorded that first ep. ('Burn Baby Burn: Part One') and watched it (actually, just most of it because I was busy).
He wasn't in it that much though. He's in the second part, so I'm thinking he has an actual scene or scenes in it. Looking forward to that and whatever else he is in, too, of course.

ETA: Actually, you get TNT & TBS, right, Tos? If you do, you, in fact, can see Bret in "Without a Trace" Requiem(#4.22)(2006) on Monday @ 1PM ET on TNT, and in "Yes, Dear" Doctor, Doctor(#1.17)(2001) on Wednesday @ 3 PM ET on TBS. WOOOHOOOO!!

This doesn't have anything to do with his acting (which is pretty damn good! (I think)), but actually, imo, he looks kinda goofy. . . but in a good way though. (<--at least in "Medium" he did) Heh, heh.

RAWR!!! J/K. It's OK. I do that sometimes as well. I don't mean to either. I know everyone gets busy, so, don't worry about it. It's OK, as long as you reply some other time.

Interesting. Mmhmm.

Heck yeah it's awesome!! There's gotta be someone in casting luvin on "Everwood" who has an influence on several shows. Surely us home viewers aren't the only ones who recognize Everwood's brilliance and all the actors' formidable talent.
"Without a Trace" qualifies too, since Lukas Behnken was just on, plus Cody McMains, Bret Loehr and some others, including Ian Vogt (aka Matt Lansing) and Shane Haboucha (aka Charlie Hayes). Quite a few have been on "Judging Amy", "CSI", "CSI: Miami", "Cold Case" and "Malcolm in the Middle", too. Also, "NCIS", "Nip/Tuck", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Justin League", "ER" and "Monk" featured a few of them. Of course, there's some others but those are the ones that stand out the most to me (since I frequent IMDb often).

Aww. I understand. It is tough when you have long days with school/work or just other things to do. But it's cool you tried to watch it.

It was interesting to see him in another part.
Oh no!! That's disappointing. I'm kinda a hyprocrite since I didn't watch the entire episode yet. See, I set them to record then watch them whenever (typically within a couple days to a week). I did see the beginning and it did seem kinda boring but I was tired then which is why I stopped watching. I'll watch it sometime soon though.

Well, that is understandable and relatable.

Aww, thank you very much, MrsBrown. That means a lot to me.

ETA: Here, guys: See first 7:33 of "Cold Case" Bad Reputation(#5.16) courtesy of YouTube user gabula4852. This ep. opens with John Pyper-Ferguson playing supposedly reformed bad guy 'Peter 'Pete' Doyle - 1997'. You'll recognize John as 'Joe' from "Brothers & Sisters".

In the clip, you'll see Rob Nagle, who played Joel Hurwitz (you remember, the magazine reporter who came to town to find out what the heck was going on w/Dr. Brown) in 'The Miracle of Everwood', playing 'Bernie Murphy'. This character is the new husband of Pete's estranged wife (or, just lover?), Jules Murphy (played by Gigi Rice).

Paul Wesley (aka Tommy) is also in the episode -- probably in the second half. He plays the 2008 version of Pete's biological son, Petey, who took Bernie's last name. Who the heck played the 1997 version of Petey? It's Gregory Mikurak who only has a few credits but it's worth a mention since he essentially plays a younger version of Paul Wesley.

What's even MORE awesome is that this episode featured the Counting Crows' 'Recovering the Satellites'!!

The only reason I haven't seen this episode (which aired Apr. 13) is because CBS' schedule was all whacked out, so I only have the first ten minutes. So, let's make sure we watch this really, really freakin awesome episode when it next airs, if we can, alright?

Thanks for the replies, Tos, everwoodfan, and MrsBrown!

Come again, IF YOU DARE. MUAHAHAHAHAHA.

Thanks for all this, detritus. Too bad I was busy yesterday and didn't see this week's post yet or I would have popped in a tape for Gracie's Choice and Nearing Grace.

It seems like everyone in this board has a job. You have been updated us with Everwood members' projects while I've posted the animations, Matty does the caps of EVC, Betty is bringing old threads back to life, Tos helps to make this board exciting by cracking jokes/ranting, and others do participate in discussions, whether it be Everwood or not, as well as Michelle and Alex are the mods of this board. We make a great team.

Off topic: Who is in your avatar, Detritus?

Aww, you're welcome.
That's too bad but there's next time. Gracie's Choice is definitely worth watching as it is an atypically top-notch Lifetime movie. I haven't fully watched it but it is remarkable. Anne Heche was nominated for an Emmy for her performance, if you didn't know. That's pretty awesome.
Thank you for the feedback.

Yeah. I love the collaboration and kinship among this group of interesting, pleasant and intelligent people. Quite amazing our little haven here, huh? Yep. Except I do not consider it a "job". Heh, heh.

Ahh, he's Adam Duritz, the innovative, exquisite, distinguished frontman of the phenomenal alternative rock band Counting Crows.

Yeah, that's true.

No offense, but Adam Duritz looks so hilarious in your avatar.

Cool. I've seen parts of it too, but not the whole thing. I Kristen Bell, lol. Anyway I just spotted that I apparently missed Kate Mara too! Why were all the things I wanted to see on Monday? Oy.

Also, hee to Adam Duritz. I made a music video for one of my classes (introductory video production, I'm a film studies minor in uni) in the fall semester set to "Cup of Coffee" by Garbage. This connects with Adam Duritz because the girl I got to play the part of the girl in the video (it's basically about this guy that breaks up with his girlfriend over a cup of coffee.. how mean is that?) didn't have many pictures of guys on her facebook. There was only her and Adam Duritz

I loved "Everybody loves Raymond". Though its tendendy to have a long beat between converstations annoyed the heck out of me, I still found this show so hilarious as well as entertaining. I watched that episode a while ago. Charles Durning was funny, but in a subtle way. Everwood made a very fine choice in picking him for the role of Andy's father.

Eh, that one's not so hilarious. There are other much funnier pics!! Such is Adam, such is life, I guess.
I'll be changing it up though, of course.

Good. . . . Well, that is life - If I was her I'd much rather have him break up with me instead of pretending. . . . Ha, that's craaazy!

Yeah, I totally forgot about that one as well. It was her first credit, from 1997, and I freakin missed it (again). But it'll be on again eventually, of course.
Last night I watched the "Yes, Dear" episode called 'Doctor, Doctor' that I recorded because Bret Loehr (aka Magilla) was in it, and I swear I saw it before but I didn't remember his part (which is weird), but anyway, he rocked!! It was a bit part (his first credit, actually) but he was really funny!!
Have you guys seen it?

Yeah, it was a pretty decent show. One that my parents and I got a charge out of, so that's always good when there's something that appeals to everybody and you can watch together and get a laugh.

Yeah, I've seen him in the show, too. Glad he got a handful of eps. instead of just one or two. Yes, he is funny and subtle. And downright amazing.

YES. I COMPLETELY agree. He just fit perfectly. I so appreciate the fact that the show reached a point where we got to meet Andy's father, and it played out realistically, where it didn't cater to too sweet or acrimonious overtones. I know it's a storyline that had to have struck a cord with my dad, and I'm sure other families as well.

So, wow, have you guys seen him in FX's "Rescue Me"? He played father to Denis Leary's character in twenty-four episodes from the show's third ep. in Aug. 2004 through #4.13 in Sept. 2007. I heard he was REALLY, REALLY funny. . . and endearing.
I've seen the show at least a few times but none of Mr. Durning's eps., but I'm SO looking forward to seeing them.
