My dad asked me what time the game was on. I told him and he said he was going to ask my brother-in-law to meet him for a drink after work and they'd get the family take out. I asked him why, they might not have the game on wherever they go. He said that was okay, he didn't want to come to the house and see me all angered and emotional so he wanted to stay away until the final result was in.

He basically said there was an agreement he only play in important games? Well, there you go. I am glad Arena cut him loose. That's just weird to me. He wanted to retire possibly in 2018.. when a player talks like that he's not really into it anymore.

I took that as meaning it was Bruce's decision to only have him play in important games. I must have misread it.
