I'll go see if any place has posted it tonight...i mean there's always the wb.com but that's not too specific.

everwoodonline.com has a little more detailed summary then the wb. but not much more, it's still early.

although if anyone can find a site that updates at a fairly quick pace it'd be greatly appriciated

Thanks for the help, but I meant a summary that explains what happened scene by scene.... I feel very ashamed because I missed Mondays episode and need to get caught up!

I think Amy's parents are being completely unfair to her. They act like they're the best parents ever and yet they completely ignore Amy's feelings. They don't understand her depression and try to think of it scientifically which does not work. I think Amy does need structure in her life and she should not be skipping school, but she shouldn't be chained to her room because that will only fester her depression. I like what her grandma is doing for her.

Rose is a crazy person! Why should she sit and allow her family to run itself and then blow up at something she caused? It is her fault she sat back for so long and she has no right to blow up at Harold for something he wasn't aware of.

Bright also seems a little like Rose on the subject. He never spoke up until recently and should have. Or at least remained calm.

I also kind of wanted to punch Deliah. I understand what she was saying about why she was so angry at her dad but glaring at him like a devil child was getting quite annoying.

For once I didn't completely abhor Madison, but I still can't think of her and Ephram as a couple. She's so much older than him and to me, it is like she parents him instead of goes out with him. I think she is becoming a good babysitter (although I hate how everything she does seems so perfect) but nowhere near a good match for Ephram.

I honestly think that the lady who promised her husband to have a child should have had the baby. I would have anyway. Oh, and that actress, she died? That is so sad! That completely shocked me when I saw the dedication at the end. That is terrible.

I won't link it since the rules say no links to other discussion boards and it's partly a discussion board, but Television Without Pity should have a detailed summary of this episode up very soon. Probably tomorrow; I'm actually surprised it's not up yet, but I just checked and it's not.

I find the whole behavior of the Abbott family inconsistent. In the Thanksgiving episode it was Patch who laid down the law to Amy in a vicious and inappropriate manner, and everyone else was saying that he'd gone way over the line; even Rose was torn. Now all of a sudden it's Rose who wants to impose the terms of the Treaty of Versailles on Amy, as it were, and even threatens divorce if Patch won't support her. WTF?

In any event, what do they expect? Depression, and it's something with which I have experience, isn't something that is suddenly cured after taking a couple of pills. The medication she's on (timelines are always a little vague on TV, and particularly on the WB, so we don't know exactly how long) could be beginning to have an effect (as Amy indicated), but she is still ill, and what she needs is not a ton of bricks to land on her but some reasonable limits imposed and lovingly enforced, not with screaming and threats. Much as Edna is doing.

Rose's behavior bothers me in terms of the show's development because it seems inconsistent. Yes, she needs to stop Patch's walking all over her; that's undoubted; it's been clear at least since she insisted on visiting the Traveling Psychologist. But this is a very odd place and time and manner of initiating the process in a major way. The writing is ordinarily superb on this show, and this -- to me -- glitch is therefore troubling. I've always expected them (not a spoiler; haven't seen anything saying this) to come to the point of a breach eventually, and maybe to actually separate, but not so irrationally. Of course, to be facing the loss of a child can do all sorts of things to one's psyche, I suppose.

Anyway, really liked the episode, and it does look as though tomorrow's is going to be good, too. We all know that the Frog's Promo Guy lies like a rug, but that scene between Tommy and Bright -- if it's actually explained why Bright clocks him, a lot could be made clear.

Oh. As for Delia's Eyes of Death, I think that they're perfectly understandable. (I also got a kick out of them; I think Vivien Cardone, if she survives puberty, has a real future in the biz.) And I think that TGDB deserved getting them under the circumstances. Nonetheless, thought the motel scene was absolutely great, happy that TGDB corrected his mistake with Delia, and really did laugh out loud when Andy hastily got out of the porno movie rental menu telling Delia that she "wouldn't like" that one.
