Andy: What are you doing in here?
Ephram: What does one normally do in the laundry room? I’ll give you one guess.
Andy: Since when do you do your own laundry?
Ephram: I spilled something on my sheets.
Andy: What did you spill?
Ephram: I-I.. Chocolate milk.
Andy: When did we get chocolate milk?
Ephram: Look, I don’t know. Alright? Would you stop asking me questions?!
(Ephram storms out. Andy talks after him)
Andy: I’m making pancakes. You want some?
Ephram! Go to hell!
Andy (mumbles to himself): That’s my boy.

Andy: You're still up?
[Ephram takes out the earphones from his ears.]
Ephram: Oh, I'm burning some songs for my trip.
[Andy picks up a CD.]
Andy: Summer of Freedom Mix 2004? Can't you be excited about going to New York without offending me?

Andy[to Ephram]: Now, if you choose not to respond to my parental authority, I should warn you, I have mind altering drugs in the other room and I'm not afraid to use them.

[Ephram walks toward Dr. Brown who is walking to meet him on the sidewalk. Dr. Brown gives Ephram a huge bear hug.]
Andy: Oh, come here.
Ephram: Uh, alright, Dad. Air.

session that we- we never really talked about how your summer went.

[Cut to the woods at night. Ephram is trying to light a fire.]
DR. BROWN: You know, if you shield it from the wind...
EPHRAM: Don't! You are forbidden from dispensing advice on anything, ever! You're fired!
[He manages to light it and puts it into the stack of wood but it quickly goes out.]
DR. BROWN: If you just put a piece of...
EPHRAM: ...Fired!
DR. BROWN: Fine. You drive.
EPHRAM: Come on. Come on.
[This match lights but goes out just as quick.]
EPHRAM: AH!
[Ephram gives up, exhausted, then remembers the flare gun. He reaches for it and shoots it straight at the fire. The procedure works. Ephram looks pleased with himself.]
DR. BROWN: That's one way of doing it.

Ephram: You never did any of that stuff with me.
Andy: Ok, how about you and I join the Everwood's Mens Chorus together.
Ephram: I don't need to bond that bad.

This is a great topic!! We'd love to hear your favorite Andy/Ephram moments. :flowers:

Hm for some reason I had missed this. No idea why. Let's see top 3.

1. Well the moment when Ephram encouraged Andy to propose to Nina. Thinking how it all started and how much Ephram and Andy couldn't get going and then having this moment where those two are so in sync with each other. You just know that the wait was worth it. You know that what they've been trough in the series was worth it. It was really good ending for them.
2. I personally love the moment in Season 1 when Andy told Ephram that Julia was the one that cheated. Ephram was so disappointed and Andy found the right words to tell him that she is still his mother and he should have this good memory of her. It showed me that they have the potential to be great with each other.
3. The end of Season 1 when Andy told him how he and Julia met each other. It was lovely moment that showed why Andy and Julia decided to get married and be a family. And I like how Ephram knew why. This is also the moment when Andy told Ephram why they moved to Everwood and when Ephram asked him why he didn't tell him sooner Andy said that it wasn't supposed to be easy. It was a really honest conversation between them.

I loved that moment! I always thought Ephram and Nina had a nice relationship throughout the entire series. Nina wasn't overbearing or too motherly with Ephram. First off, because she wasn't his mother, but secondly Nina was just awesome in that she definitely sensed there was a motherly/son dynamic with them, but she didn't overstep it. What I mean is they would talk about stuff (Amy primarily) and Nina never judged, she gave sound advice. Ephram definitely gave Andy his blessing because he always liked Nina. I just loved the Nina/Ephram dynamic so to see it come full circle as Ephram's helping out his dad with the proposal was so nice to see.

I think their entire dynamic changed after this reveal. I loved it. Julia was an awesome mother, she was. However, I think Ephram put her so high up in the clouds she was angelic in his eyes. Thing is, usually sons and daughters do go there quite often about their mother. But I feel like Julia was so high up there, Ephram then shoved Andy down to hells gates at the same time. :lol: This reveal was good because Julia was still supermom in the end (I loved how Andy told Ephram that the cheating was not her fault, it was his), but she wasn't "perfect" anymore which also made Andy not totally "imperfect" either. It balanced things out much more.
