Plows have come to the neighborhood three times since early this morning so that tells you how much snow we received. These people work so hard. We aren't expected to get any snow tomorrow which is great since they won't have to leave to work on Thanksgiving but Black Friday (and the weekend) the snow starts up once again.

That's a good attitude. Sometimes it's difficult to have that kind of faith when bad stuff happens. You wonder why God allows this to happen.

I took advantage of Black Friday. Needed a bedroom dresser. I got a really good deal on one. I waited a couple months and generally knew what I was looking for. So when Black Friday rolled around, I typed in what I was looking for, a bunch of options popped up and I found precisely what I was looking for, at nearly 75% off. Kind of wish I was in person and not purchasing online but I trust the store I bought it from (purchased two couches from HOM Furniture about two years ago) so it should be fine. What a great deal I received... and I didn't need to battle the crowds to get it.

I was dreading my weekly weigh in because I ate more than usual on Thanksgiving and yesterday when Teresa and I had our own Thanksgiving Dinner, but I actually lost two pounds this week! All the exercise that I've been doing has paid off! I now weigh what I weighed in college!

Good for you! That's smart...couldn't imagine fighting those crowds. SO much easier to take advantage with the sale online.
