Buddy went around 30 hours without eating anything. According to vet and everywhere I read, it's stress from the move.
I took a banana and hand-fed him about 1/8th of the banana. He gobbled it down. I prepared his food once again and FINALLY he ate... he usually gets 1/2 can every 12 hours but he just plowed in 3/4th of a can. ETA: Still having some feeding issues. Hope it straightens out soon. Why he'd turn up his nose to food he's been eating for the past four years. He looks almost scared to eat it. Yet I'm looking at him right now and he's playing like crazy with toys. I think he has moments. The banana, the past two days he hasn't refused. Today, he wouldn't eat his regular food so I cut up a tiny bit of banana, put it next to his regular food, he plowed through the banana and then ate his food. But if I wouldn't have put the banana there he wouldn't have wanted his food during this 12 year feeding. I am trying to psychologically figure this out, lol. Why would he refuse it without the banana but eat it with the banana? I didn't mix the banana IN with his food either, it was separate. |

Peanuts
This is my favorite Follow on Twitter. Not only has Peanuts always been my favorite Comic Strip, but it's one of, if not the greatest American Comic Strip written and illustrated by the one and only, Minnesota native, Charles M. Schulz. I collected Comics in childhood. In my one local Cleveland Sunday newspaper, there was (still is!) a separate Comic Book filled with a variety of Comics. I always looked forward to my Comic Book every Sunday (my Grandmother even collected them for me in case I'd forget one) and Peanuts was the first one I couldn't wait to read. So seeing Peanuts on Twitter daily just makes my days brighter. |
