That's great!

This gun/revolver talk is... . LOL.

My dad, several uncles and cousins would hunt a lot 20ish years ago (pheasant, deer, duck). I never tagged along but saw their hunting gear.

I've never hunted but a lot of my neighbors do. They mostly hunt deer.

My sister has a .38 special revolver that I really like.

I've never hunted either. It seems like a lot of work.

Ironically, I bought my newest gun for concealed carry, which is kinda moot now that Oklahoma has become a constitutional carry state. Now I can get a holster and just walk around with it on my belt.

Did you get your Roomba Vacuum yet Michelle? I didn't get Alexa set up for it yet, but I tried the Roomba Mop that I got in the kitchen and it worked pretty well, but I think that manually mopping is better. The only think I don't like about both the Roomba vacuum and mop is that they get into places you don't want them to go. I'll still manually vacuum the house once a week on Saturday and use the Roomba Vacuum one time during the week. I might use the Roomba Mop once a week and manually map when I need to. The real advantage of the Roomba Vacuum is that it can go under the beds, which our regular vacuum can't do. Our regular vacuum is a Dyson and it works really well.

Texas is an open carry state too, but I don't carry a gun. I use my revolver for target practicing at a shooting range.

My family loved to hunt. It was more about the bonding together, the preparation, hanging out together, talking. They had a lot of fun.

We ordered one just yesterday (along with getting MyPillows, huge sale) so it’s arriving in the next two days. Glad you are enjoying it, slight quirks and all.

That's nice.

I could never see myself hunting though. I wouldn't have the heart to kill an animal. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with hunting but I just couldn't do it.

There's some of that here too. The older I get, the less I think I could kill an animal on purpose. I feel bad when I hit a squirrel.

Well, I had a 20 gauge shotgun and a Sig Sauer P228 pistol that I bought when the police department had a sale after upgrading their service sidearms, but when we had all that trouble with Stephanie and her ex, they both disappeared along with one of my tablets.

Since then, I've bought a Taurus G2 PT111 9mm pistol, but the grip isn't as comfortable as I'd like, so that's why I bought the Springfield.

So, to answer your question. I have 2 guns.

Got it.

What do you use them for mostly? Target practice? Protection? Both?
