Great title!
Happy August, everyone! I hope it goes as quickly as July did. It was 100 degrees here yesterday. More in some areas. Plus, the smoke, haze, etc. of surrounding fires and some wind. The smell, the burning eyes and throat, I have just had enough. __________________

Hey Twin! That is just too damn hot. I've been raging against our US summers for years now. LOL. I hate them and wish they'd go away forever. They are flat-out dangerous. But yes, I've been counting the days until September when we can close the book on this summer. It has been brutal.

Yes, it's been a brutal Summer. Even when we walk at 8:00 PM it's miserably hot.

The only good news I guess is we typically get way more severe thunderstorms and tornado touchdowns than we’ve gotten this summer. We have gotten some, and the Midwest has been pounded by tornadoes as a whole this summer, but normally Minnesota gets many more days of severe weather. Hope that continues into the month of August. June and July typically are our severe summer weather months.
I am extra excited because this is Minnesota… LOL. We could potentially get snow in September.  |
