So the Bulgarian CTO who is now my boss is definitely improvement from my previous boss. He comes to my office today because he wanted us to discuss a task force we created while I was in sick leave. Anyway he comes to my office right at the time I am assigning some task to M because it was super important. He is like you should not have to deal with that. We have do hire another person to take care of the tasks list and make sure that they are assigned. I told him that I still have no approval but a guy in the team has someone for this position.

So I asked the other and the CTO basically told him to organize interview with said person and to talk to the HR. He was like "You are taking too much tasks and you will end up burn out. I don't want this to happen.".

So yeah nice change compared to the previous one. We will see if this would happen this time around.

I'm so often reminded what a vigilant watchdog we have in Goldie! A repairman came to fix our dryer and when he came in she jumped up on him to say hello and he gave her a treat! He's done work for us before so he knows her, and he was petting her.

That's so great. Hope it continues but as it stands, it really appears as if those major work changes (getting those three out) and appointing you boss and the Bulgarian CTO being your boss was the perfect solution.

So my first PT was today. They are doing two procedures. One is with some sort of heating apparatus. It's basically light and heat that targets my left area where my issues were. After that there is another apparatus. Not sure how it's called, but they add some cream to my cheek and then do the procedure. I have 20 procedures paid by the health insurance that I am using so most probably this means 10 days of PT for free.

Wow that’s wonderful! I’m highly interested in this. I’ve never heard of it before. It’s fascinating. Great that you have many sessions paid for too!

How far away is PT from your work and will you go to PT before, during or after work?

So far no. My head did hurt a bit after the session though because they do apply pressure on my my left side with the second procedure.

The PT is in the same hospital as the ENT. It's 5 minutes walk. Today I needed an hour but I had to wait for one of the apparatus because it was used by another patient in PT. I have to go tomorrow around 10 AM.

I bet in this case, the pain is good because it means it’s doing something. How long does each session take?

Really convenient that PT is in the same hospital as ENT and super close to your work.

Good that you can have the sessions during work hours and you can come and go. That’s great.
