So someone asked about the reaction of the male stars in OTH and apparently there was. You could could see it if you check Sophia's twitter.

Basically James Lafferty, Lee Noris, Austin Nicols and Stephen Colleti supported them with tweets.









Torrey De Vito also responded to this:



It explains why Sophia is so sensitive about this and now so vocal. A lot of people think that she left Chicago PD for similar reason. She does not want to answer though.

I thought the conversation at the end of the last thread was important so brought a lot of the posts over. I assume you were sleeping, Koni, while I was away nursing a stomachache so it looks like we both missed out on some good discussion as well as the thread going well over 300, haha.

Thanks, Koni, for bringing over the latest! Glad the guys spoke out too. That is great. I am now truly starting to believe Sophia might have been harassed on PD. Initially it seemed weird she was so silent and no one was really backing up her departure as far as reasoning. But it all ties together now. If she was harassed on that show as well, she should speak out. She deserves to.

I am just sickened while finding all of this out. Are we not human beings with beating hearts naturally knowing right from wrong? We are some people so horrible? I don't get it. I'm really struggling with this. I just never imagined this sht went on. I was naive.

Betty, yes, those three didn't go home with the team. They need severe punishment when they get home. This is nuts. They should be permanently chucked from UCLA and a nice punishment would be going around the country for the next six months talking to our youth about how stupid they were and how NOT to follow in their pathetic footsteps.

She did said something in an interview long time ago. It was before she left the show. She said that there was some discussion and a male co-star actually put a hand on her mouth to shut her up. She saw this gesture as sexist. I don't remember the exact context and she does not say the name either. However the speculations were that she either talks about Nick Wechsler (he was guest star in Chicago PD) or Jason Beghe (the one that plays Hank Voight, the main character). Once Season 5 premiered Sophia did write a tweet about the show where she mentioned everyone but Jason Beghe so the speculation seemed even truer.

I agree with this. They can't just get away with a slap on the wrist you know. They committed a crime more than once in a foreign country. They should be punished for it.

I get your point, but maybe the truth needs to come out at the right time so that we all face the facts and know how actually it is you know.

For the last few weeks we realized that the things are worse than what we have imagined and it seems that it's even more than what is said right now. We need to face this so that we (as a society) could get better and improve.

It seems that it's not just in Hollywood. It's a serious problem spread all around the world. I am glad that people speak up and I hope that we as a society will manage to change this.

The situation is as sick as it is, but you are right having to think that young children were subjected to this makes me go sick .

Sorry, I didn't want them serving a prison sentence in China for shoplifting but I also don't want them coming home, rejoining the team like nothing happened either, especially if it's true that Trump made this happen. UCLA better punish them for what they did. They embarrassed their institution, they embarrassed this country for that matter making international news.

ETA: In thinking about it though... CAN UCLA do something about it IF all charges were dropped?

Interesting. It does seem to be that one guy. If true, it might not be the end of the world as far as what he did (since it could have been even worse given what else we're finding out in other cases) but I could see why she didn't like what happened and that she viewed it as sexist.

I honestly think I do live under a rock and have the naive thing but I just assumed he was fond of Hilarie because he liked her personality or something. I just never assumed it was unhealthy but with all of you saying you found him weirdly obsessed with Hilarie... there has to be something there.

In this country you are innocent until proven guilty. If all charges were dropped, I am not sure anything can be done.
