I tested them yesterday at work and yes they are comfy.

I am with you on hating most women's shoes. I prefer running/walking shoes over anything else. LOL Actually, Crocs are my favorite.
I like something in between which is why it's so difficult to find. The clothes I wear to work do not always look good with running shoes. So I need something that is as comfy as regular running/walking shoes without looking too rough and sporty.

^^^ Makes sense. For me that's Crocs. I love them so much Anna and Sara bought me 5 pairs in 3 different colors, lol. Since I started wearing Crocs the Plantar Fasciitis in both feet is totally under control. So Crocs and Birkenstocks is what I wear. But then again, I work at a University and don't have to worry about wearing super dressy shoes either.

I'm home on vacation this week so I can post here as much as I want without having to look over my shoulder!

I wear black New Balance Sneakers with special arch supports for my bad feet at work. I hate wearing real shoes because they hurt my toes. I had to wear them when my sister got married and I changed them as soon as the wedding was over and all the pictures were taken.

YAY have a great week! Do you guys have any specific plans this week?

I love the New Balance brand. I also go to weddings/confirmations/holidays dressed up but always bring extra clothes so I'm back in the sneakers, sweatshirt, jeans, sweatpants the very first chance I get.

Nice. That's an important age group... physical, cognitive and social/emotional milestones are largely in play.

Thanks! Teresa started a temporary job today so I'll just be staying home and relaxing. It figures that she starts a job the week I'm off!

Yes, I love New Balance too. I have a pair for work, a pair for walking outside and a pair for walking on the treadmill.

Here's a picture of my new car:

I hope that you all can see it as it's from Facebook. Does anyone know of a free picture hosting website? I used to use Photobucket, but now they want a fortune to be able to post pictures from their website to other placess. Thanks.

^^^ Of course the timing is awful. Great for Teresa though and you can take the week and rest/relax.

I know New Balance is promoted at the high schools here. Even on sheets that suggest what kids need for the school year... that brand of shoe is used as an example of a good shoe.

Wow, your car looks amazing! I absolutely love that color too. How's the drive?

Yes it is! This assignment is supposed to last a few weeks, so we'll see what happens. I'm taking another week's vacation in October so if this assignment has to end, I hope it ends before then so we can go somewhere. I'll have one week off a month for the rest of the year and two weeks off at Christmas.

When I was a teenager, the running shoe to have was Adidas, but now I like New Balance. I also like a shoe called Altra Repetition for walking.

Thanks! The drive is amazing, and now I only have to fill up once a week versus every three days with my old car as it gets much better gas mileage.

I love how you can take off one week a month for the rest of the year plus two weeks for Christmas. What a wonderful perk. The months before Christmas are so busy so it's great you have so much time off during this time period. Hope if Teresa's job doesn't extend longer you guys get to go somewhere in October.

Right! I haven't checked out Altra Repetition yet. I will have to give them a look. I basically order mine online and do so the second I notice they are breaking down some. I will have to go out of my normal routine, lol, and check out the other brand you use.

That's great! The car looks both sporty and classy, a combination of both. It just shines. At least something good came from your accident.

I always save up my vacation until the last months of the year to give me something to look forward to.

I like them because it mimics the natural shape of your foot so it's a lot more comfortable to walk in them.

Yes, I really like my new car, but I wish that I didn't have to wreck my old car to get it! My old car was also a Ford Fusion, and I really liked it, and it was still in good shape until that lady hit me. Oh well.

That's really smart. Do you sleep in on vacation or do you have an internal alarm clock and still get up fairly early?

Nice! Is the brand super expensive or not too bad?

The accident was so unfortunate. What year was your old car and how many miles? What kind of a car does Teresa have?

I've always had a limited number of shoe types. I'm so basic, lol. You wouldn't catch me in heels, ever. Even when I'm dressed up, I'll wear a flat type and always black.

I get up about 6:00 AM whether I'm going to work or on the weekends or on vacation. I never even have to set my alarm.

It's around $100.00.

It was a 2009 Ford Fusion and it had 130,000 miles on it but it still ran great and it still looked good. I had wanted to keep it until next year, when it would have been 10 years old (it was a 2009, but I bought it in 2008). I was able to custom order what I wanted from the factory (through a car dealership) but with my new car I had to take what was on the lot because I needed a car right away since I didn't have one.

Teresa has a 2015 Ford Fiesta.

Thanks Koni! I also wanted to thank you for all the advice you gave me when I was looking for a new computer. I really love my new computer and it's so fast and performs so well. I'm especially amazed at how fast it boots up. It takes seconds versus minutes with my old computer. I still prefer Windows 7 to Windows 10, but I've gotten used to Windows 10 now. We still have Windows 7 at work.
