We could all use a good laugh most days! And many times we have experienced something that has made us laugh and we wish we could share it with others.This thread is for that purpose. And the other two languages that I studied - Spanish and German have rules that are simpler to follow. Shelby in all fairness I think that the Americans had tried to simplify a bit the language. I've heard that in the beginning it was even more complex. I have coworker at work that have problems with the fact that some words in English have more than one meaning and they have nothing in common. Like fair - It might be just because someone is fair or not, or it I might just want to invite someone to go the fair. And something for the comedy relief:

I love these so much.. it's never good to be too serious all the time so this thread is just perfect to remedy that.

Koni, I would have a difficult time with English if it wasn't my primary language I think because the way my mind processes things is with laws, rules, systematic order without gray area. I think I would fail miserably at English so thank God I'm American.

The idea is that since Germany lost World War II and Wednesday is really after Tuesday, so whenever someone says this - they will have proof that he traveled back in time .

Not to say that it should be funny for anyone - it's just for me, because it reminds me of those pranks how to tell someone that you traveled back in time by asking them which year is .
