"All I Want for Christmas Is You" is one of people's favorite holiday tracks in my country as well. Listeners here even call it Mariah's "Christmas pension song". |

Merry Christmas, Everyone!
Koni, The Barbies that I bought the girls each had a grown-up Barbie and a little girl Barbie. The one for Mia was big and little sister Barbie. The alarm for Lana was gymnastics instructor and little gymnast. That said had rings, hula hoops, etc. Very cute |

I got a four foot tall Stormtrooper and the Die Hard coloring book, so mine was awesome.

So now it's both Koni and Alan coloring!
I just spent a second Christmas with Nadine and Chris. We don't take their gifts to Joe's, so today when we got back to my house...we opened their gifts and had Christmas all over again. How's it going with your friends from Cleveland, Michelle? |

I was very practical this year..bought my kids gift cards to their favorite stores, gift cards to their favorite restaurants, new clothes (sweaters, etc)..Chris needed new sneakers, some money, and miscellaneous items. The kids chipped in to buy me a ticket to the broadway show, Beautiful. It's the story of Carol King and from what I've heard....outstanding. They also got me a gift card for 3 personal training sessions at my gym. (Are they trying to tell me something?) |

I bought them clothing, pajamas, books, thermoses (for their lunch box), CDs, money. I did throw in a couple of new Barbie Dolls. You can't have enough Barbie Dolls! |

My mom was the same way with Anna and Sara when they were Lana and Mia's age. You definitely have to change things up some after they've accumulated so many toys. My mom actually said the same thing about Barbie Dolls too, same exact quote. You guys are home now I take it? What are you and Nadine up to? Any New Years plans? |

Thanks for bumping!
Anna and I are heading to two stores this morning... one of them is a pet store... we’re going to get Buddy and Hershey some toys... wrap them up so they have a blast tonight opening them up. We’re all going to make Halupki together too around early afternoon. We have reservations tonight in downtown Minneapolis at the same place we went last year. We’re continuing the same tradition for the past couple years of going out for Christmas Eve dinner. Then we’ll go back to my sisters and open presents. Tomorrow will be very relaxing... eating Halupki and Pierogi. Looking forward to the classic A Christmas Story marathon that runs 24 hours starting tonight! Also, since Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday we have a boatload of NFL games today/tonight too. What about you? |
