To be considerate and supportive of your partner every day is an effort that should be appreciated.
Definitely. I mentioned my aunt and uncle recently and how they met as children. If ever there was this "perfect" marriage it was theirs. Uncle recently passed away.

Anyway, they never celebrated the holiday. They'd give some candy to family. Like, if we were over there maybe my aunt would have out some heart-shaped candies or something like that. But as a couple they never celebrated because of what we are saying. My aunt would say they celebrated daily. My parents never celebrate. My sister and brother-in-law don't either. Although my brother-in-law is big on cards. He always has been. So he'll get one card for his three girls aka wife and children and that's it. My sister would freak if he ever spent money on overpriced roses.

Ah thanks . I'm not the creator. I just did something that it's a basis for the project and most customers really want and need this. So having this available helps us to find customers.

I will have to create user guide for this because I want to explain to the teams what could be done with them. So after the demonstration next week I will do separate one where I will train them in this. However I need to make two guides:

1. One that explains what could be done which could be used by testers.
2. One technical that explains what and how could be done which would be for the co-workers from my team.
You'll be so good at this.

What is the deadline for getting both guides done?

Thanks for the new thread, Mich! I get what you guys are saying about Valentine's Day, it's just slightly annoying for me, but I know E and I will be in communication during the day and I will see E on Sunday, so that will be good.

My parents don't celebrate this holiday either. They are not fans of this type of thing.

Well not that good . It's easier for me to write when it comes to present my opinion. Having to write something like that is harder. I would try to use as less words as possible and in the end I'm not sure that people understand me . I need some inspiration before starting writing.

Plus I am not big fan of presentations. I don't like doing it. For example next week I would have to talk in front of at least 30 people and that is a big group for me. I don't feel excited about that because I don't like being the center of the attention when it comes to this.

The first guide is ready and I will present it next week most probably.

For the second one I don't have deadline for now.

Funnnnnn! Staying with the sister-in-law and husband?

What part of Florida, again?

Koni, what will your presentation be like? Are you speaking in front of people and if so, how many people?

It will be more like demonstration. I won't prepare slides or stuff like so it's not presentation in this sense. I will talk though based on a document that I already sent to the people that will have to listen to me next week. I won't memorize stuff because then I will be too stiff and artificial . This is my plan though:

1. I will ask people what they think about the project and what is the purpose.
2. Then I will explain what is the business value of the project and why it's needed. Also what is the gain of the company.
3. I will go through the main functionalities that the application has. I will demonstrate and explain it.

I will talk in front of 25-30 people. For person like me this is not small quantity of people so I'm a bit worried about that. I hope that my nervousness won't be that apparent for them.

What are the plans for the weekend guys?

Yes most definitely I can see why you're nervous! I teach and stuff but I feel that's different. Colleagues/co-workers would be way more stressful. However I know you'll do just fine. It's Monday?

This weekend I'm not moving. Still recovering so barely moving from family room. Even though I'm Introverted this bothers me because I like to go get my coffee, shop for fruits and veggies, check out my nieces soccer games on Saturdays and I couldn't do any of that today. Oh well, I'm catching up on a show called The Middle. I absolutely love it.

What are you up to?

No. Monday and Tuesday two co-workers from Germany are here and we will discuss some things related to my project so I most probably won't have the time to do it.

I still don't know which day it will be but it won't be Monday or Tuesday. For me it's the same no matter the audience. I just don't like being like that because I get the attention and people look at me and I just get paralyzed of the idea that they all look at me and wait for me to say something. I feel very uncomfortable in such situations. I start trembling a lot.

I understand, but if staying at home will make you better sooner than the sacrifice would be worth it. What is this show about?

Relaxing mostly. Watching movies, listening to music and singing.

It should be beach weather, but I understand they are presently having a cold spell.

I hear you.

I know you'll do perfect, though!

It's a wonderful show. It stars Cleveland native and in the minds of many, one of the most talented actress out there in Patricia Heaton.

Its a comedy, the show is presently in its 6th season.

It's basically about a Midwestern family and it's real as hell. Its so realistic and never over the top.

IF you want to know how Midwesterners live this is the perfect show. It depicts us perfectly!

My parents and I are hooked. I ordered the first 5 seasons on Amazon.

In many ways I'd consider it the sitcom version of Everwood. It's THAT unique and high in quality.

One of the greatest things about this show is the Introverted, unique little boy named Brick. They do not try to change him. He's not only Introverted but he's quirky and different but... That's okay! School, teachers try to change him but at the end of the day the moral of the story is he's fine the way he is. I love this theme soooooo much. It's rare and awesome.

Yes I'm sure . And even if the weather is a bit colder then you expected it would still be better than what you have in NY.

Thanks for the link! I will check it out. Cool about this character Brick .

So it's official now. I will go to Hannover to work there for 1 up to 3 months. We had a meeting today - with the whole team, the project manager of my team, the Development chief for the whole company (he is like second after the boss) and the executive director of the Bulgarian office. My project manager told all of them that he wants me there and that my other tasks have to be reallocated to other people.

So basically somewhere in May/June I will go there for some time. For now we will start this way and then we will see how it will go.
