I don't like how the Pjers always outnumber the Djers. and they always seem to have an argument for it.

That's because most Dawson/Joey fans are long gone now and have moved on. Pacey/Joey arguments in the past was something I cherished because I enjoyed winning those intellectual debates.

When I used to get into some vicious arguments on IMDB I'd ask the P/J'er to show me in the script. They couldn't as some of their claims are just in their heads. Some one said something and then it becomes cannon.

I referred to the scrip quite often when I was trying to figure out what happened on the show. This is what bothers me Pacey and Joey were done promicide, they even brought Andie back.

After the one night stand in the department store Joey gets revenge on Pacey, telling him she feels nothing for him at the dance she chaperoned and goes off with Eddie. She now has her revenge for promicide.

Then they film the stupid ending which came out of nowhere.

Just about any ending other than what they did would have made more sense.

Always Pacey and Andie...no exceptions.

And even Dawson and Joey....The way it was supposed to end.

The reason the debates got so nasty was that you would be ahead with common sense and what was actually written in the script. They couldn't counter it so the name calling started.

I've seen people fighting back and forth about ships but i never got in on it. When i joined in 2009 it was pretty much over.

I honestly don't think I could of handled it because I've gotten mad just reading old threads on the DC board. It just seem so one sided years ago I saw so many times where fans would laugh at James's head size or his hair and it was fine with the Moderators but if someone even hinted at a remark about Josh/pacey they would get reamed out. I remember one time a D/Jo fan said it was funny how Pacey was always eating in scenes with joey and the moderator came in and bitched out the D/jo fan and the D/jo fan even pointed out that joey herself asked Pacey in the "castaways" episode the same thing Joey said something like "why are you always eating at important moments in our life" but the moderator didn't care she said don't do it again.

I love your icon. you know it's interesting I'm not sure if we're all watching the same show but someone on imdb wrote recently pjo is mature, djo burnt out and they were a childish love. and also pjo made each other better on the old tv.com.

You'd be amazed at the number of people who have said they rooted for Pacey/Joey, but upon watching years later, that relationship made no sense. Also a large number of them said Pacey should have ended up with Andie.

^ I don't know how P/Jo fans can say that I mean did they watch season 4? because I think any DC fan would have to admit that Pacey was at his worst in season 4 when he was with Joey and was at his best in season 2 when he was with Andie.

yep, some people on the old forum and on the internet don't like andie. they also don't like dawson. that was also said on the old forum tv.com. ad of course on tumblr pjo is very popular. i keep seeing stuff of them.

That was a constant. It was disgusting. Dawson/Joey fans would refer to actual dialogue material to make points and Pacey/Joey fans would go back to ripping Dawson and James's looks. It was so gross. That's all they had, though, because they knew they couldn't use factual information in the series to prove points.

I think I know the moderator you are referring to. She was one of those posters I never saw eye to eye with. After Pacey/Joey slept together for the first time and Pacey was chomping on those chips the morning after, the Dawson/Joey fans had fun with that. First of all, Pacey acted like such a moron asking "how he was" and all of that. He was so ridiculous in those scenes. Secondly, those chips he chomped on made the scene all the more disgustingly stupid. Dawson/Joey fans had fun with that episode. Of course, the Pacey/Joey fans didn't like what we were saying. Even though we ripped Pacey sitting there (basically like a pig) chomping on those chips, we still used factual dialogue and reasoning as to why once again, Pacey/Joey demonstrated how wrong they were. Those morning after scenes were so bad, all you could do was laugh. Pacey/Joey fans just got on us about ripping their God, "Pacey/Josh" and forgot about what was actually being stated concerning the horrific scenes after they had sex. It wasn't long after this episode as payback and revenge that they went with how horrible James was, head shape, personality, you name it, while the Pacey/Joey mod allowed the James bashing and even participated in the bashing.

I was one of the Dawson’s Creek Board moderators when the show was on and the Pacey and Joey fans hated me because I was a Dawson and Joey fan, and I had to admonish quite a few of them for their mean-spirited behavior. As a result they wrote the Administrators at the time to try and get me fired and they made up lies about me, and they came close to succeeding, but then the Media Blvd. split happened and I ended up becoming the Site Administrator.

I also moderated this board during that time, and moderating this board was heaven compared to moderating the Dawson’s Creek board.
