I thought there getting married in S1 was a bit rushed yet cute. I just hated how they handled their marriage in s2 and put me off the couple till mid s3 when I finally came around to liking them again.

We can talk round and round about the triangle from hell but Naley didn't exactly have a perfect journey either. I mean, no journey is perfect but I agree about the time period that really made you shove them aside for a while. Absolutely.

I felt like they eventually came to be a good couple, but both haley and Nathan did some things and I was like um why did you get married again? Maybe you two are too young. I also have a lot more tolerance for people messing up when they haven't committed to each other for life. Call me old fashion.

I guess it depends . I couldn't tolerate this Brooke/Lucas/Peyton triangle a lot more because it was dragged a lot more and mostly because Brooke and Peyton were friends and I hate triangles when friends are involved. I also cared for Brooke a lot more than

But there is no point in arguing about that. For me Naley will always be above Leyton no matter what. For a lot others it will be the other away around. It's all OK.

I do think tha their marriage was rushed though. I didn't find it cute. I thought that it was a disaster and

I do think that they should have waited. There was no guarantee that it would work - they had dated like less than year. They were both very young. Nathan hadn't still gotten used to the fact that he is responsible for himself. I found this marriage very unrealistic.

In fact I welcomed Season 2 and their problems because it was realistic to be this way. It was unrealistic for them to be happy in the beginning.

The entire Chris storyline seemed odd and out of character to me. The show wanted to cause Naley drama and they lazily chose the same storyline every other show uses....even though it was so vastly out of character for Haley to ever go there. It was the first time I didn't like her as a character and I hated the writers for going there. There were sooooo many other ways they could have accomplished Haley messing up and causing drama instead of it being Nathan's fault all the time without making Haley "cheat."

Yes!! What I was going to say is....they aren't the parents you expect with Haley are they? The hippie type and Haley is more religious (even though the show doesn't ever blatantly say that) idk I just find it funny. I love them!

I really don't understand why Keith and Lucas had to move back to Tree Hill because of Dan. Why couldn't they just drive back and see him? How could Keith give up a job like that? Makes no sense to me.

I agree. I just am less tolerant of "cheating" when the couple is married. Is that unfair? Probably, but its how I feel. I also didn't understand haley's pov or reasoning.

I am still trying to figure out Nathan and Haley got married. There was no need for it. I don't like how Deb is reacting and how she is treating Haley, but, I don't blame her for being upset. What chance does this marriage have?

Totally agree with this. I didn't see the point of the marriage and I do understand Deb and her frustration. She had enough on her plate with Dan and this marriage was just the tipping point of her.

I said it up thread... I wish TPTB would have taken advantage of Nathan and Keith getting closer during this time period. It would have shown all the more how Nathan was his own young man, finally spreading his wings and doing things for him and not his parents, especially his father. He was prevented from getting to know his uncle because of his father. He could have taken this time and gotten to know his uncle and lived under his roof. It would have been perfect. Then Nathan and Haley could have gotten closer and closer and married after that.

Oh well, it all worked out in the end anyway.
