Mark's love for Lucas/Peyton is as big as the shipper fanbase plus more. LOL Man does he love his Lucas/Peyton. You could feel the energy swirling around in this episode.

I absolutely love Lucas/Peyton in this episode. They're too adorable together and it moved me to see them making all those plans for the future and know where they are now after almost losing each other. You see once again how they both always knew they were meant to be. The fact that it's not in Peyton's hands right now to keep her promise, like she said she always does was also touching for me. And I loved how a couple episodes ago she was the one reassuring him that everything would be ok, and now it is his turn. These two are so magically beautiful together. I love them, this spiritual, well beyond this earth type of dynamic is so special. Their relationship represents true love that transcends everything and is this big, shining bright light. They were meant to be from day 1. They were written in the stars.

I loved the Victoria/Sam/Brooke scenes a lot. Daphne has always been a favorite actress of mine. I watched her on Melrose Place way back in the day and loved her. I do think Victoria is redeemable as a mother. Yes, she was horrible, but to be honest, she could have been even more horrible. Brooke acts like she's satan's spawn and I just don't see her in line with that. She's not the best but always had potential inside of her. It's also clear that Brooke still loves her mother or else she wouldn't be reacting so emotionally. Victoria is not Dan Scott. Brooke still has a chance with her mother.

I loved the Haley/Peyton and Brooke/Peyton scenes. Girl power for the win.

I don't care a ton for Chase and Mia. I actually read the old threads that the diehard Brooke/Lucas fans (which also means diehard Brooke fans) were pissed off at the Haley comment about Brooke sleeping with everyone and the continued talk about it. I mean, be pissed but hello, did Haley say anything that wasn't true? LOL Brooke liked sex and she had lots of it in high school. So what? Because there's a "so what" should also mean that it can be brought up and stated as is. The Brooke fans hate that it's brought up but claim that Brooke having sex in high school isn't a big deal. Well, fine, but then why get mad that it was brought up? You can't have it both ways. She wasn't really pegged in a negative light... it was just stated the Chase lost his virginity to Brooke and yes, a lot of other guys did too. Oh well, that's truth. Nathan had lots of sex in high school before meeting Haley too and that's been brought up before as well. I don't see it as Mark trying to call Brooke a sl$t in the least. I really don't. Nathan was shown as loving sex in flashbacks and when his past is brought up but no one went nuts that he was pegged as a manwhore so why complain that Brooke's getting nailed in a negative light? Make up your minds! LOL It is what it is, they both liked sex! Okay, next! LOL

Anyway, Chase and Mia are fine but I don't want them on the screen a lot.

Jamie and Madison were cute. I also like Skills and the teacher. Cute.

I can see why Nathan frowned at the thought of playing in Europe. It's not only moving out of your home state, but your home country and to a league that is certainly not the NBA. Good for him shooting for the stars and going for the best league on earth, the NBA. I loved that Haley supported him no matter what. They are what they are, a unit and it's beautiful to see.

I also loved seeing Haley getting credit for her musical talent and her song (rights) bought by a big time singer. Good deal. I like that the last part of season 6 Haley's actually getting more storylines.

I am definitely happy to see Victora turn around and try to be a good mom. I do have to say that I (personally) never saw this potential for good until now. I know that Victoria is not Dan, but I was more willing to cut Dan slack than Victoria. Dan was obnoxious and controlling, but it was evident that he had love for Nathan. I have never seen (until now) any sign of love for Brooke from Victoria. Her words to Brooke were nothing short of vicious and cruel.

I never felt that way either until now. My opinion is based on what I've seen since her return and then viewing the entire situation. Brooke also accused her of attacking her and she had a gun threatening her. Brooke's made some mistakes for sure.

I can't really compare Victoria to Dan because I do feel like Dan's much worse. He's a brutal murderer and mentally abused Nathan and drove Deb to drugs. He also has had some very violent moments with Lucas and even Peyton. He literally made fun of Lucas' heart condition right to his face and so many other moments. He's despicable. He loves Jamie now and does love Nathan but when I look back on Dan as a father and Victoria as a mother, I'd take neglect and abandonment over flat out physical and emotional abuse. Both are bad but Dan affected many others, not just Nathan. He was a monster. Both are horrible though but when I compare the two, I have to go with the one who has not murdered someone as having more hope to change for the better.

That said, both Brooke and Nathan had it tough.

I love her, too. I wish she would have remained on the show. I loved Sam and Jack and felt like their story was just getting started before it ended. I mean, it takes place off screen but I wanted to SEE it!
