Continuing on from the last thread, while S7-9 Brooke wasn't horrible as HS Brooke, she was still pretty self centered imo. At the same time, Mark ruined the potential that some Brulian storylines has in the later seasons (especially S7 and 9)

So true about Brooke still being very centered as an adult. It was unfortunate.

Which Brulian storylines in those seasons do you think he ruined?

Especially since she wasn't like that in S5 and 6

Brooke not being able to have kids and Julian leaving Jude? in the car

Season 9 Brulian reminds me a bit of Season 5 Naley actually, in terms of wasted potential

I had some issues with Season 5 Brooke. When so many thought the Brooke/Angie story was cute, I thought it was unhealthy and concerning. Leigh has even commented on this before. Brooke was very self absorbed during this storyline.

Season 6, she was okay.

Brooke's miraculous children situation was annoying.

I loathed the Julian/car storyline. It was to make Brooke look like a victim all the more. That was Brooke's theme... when she wasn't manipulative, she was made to look like a victim. I never blamed Julian because I knew the writing was about making Brooke look unnecessarily victimized.

That's true, but I did actually agree with her car storylines though. How happy she was to see her dad in 9x01 was worse than that imo
