I agree. And she had no tolerance for anyone who didn't agree with her.

Brenda Baxter was an annoying character.

Disagree. I found her downright hysterical. She was sort of the female "Taylor Dosey" if you will, what with the nosiness and slightly condescending demeanor. Not sure if I'd want her as a neighbor in real life but as a character I liked her.

As much as the writers claimed to offer a balanced political focus, the show leaned far greater to the left in the end.

Agreed. Although that often lead to some of the most interesting twists: Andy (Mr. Liberal) being unable to perform an abortion and Harold (Mr. Conservative) does, or Carl, the gay character, being essentially a monster.

Andy got over Colin's death a little too quickly.

I disagree because I think that they showed enough and it still affected him later as shown with the Dr. Douglas surgery, as an example. I do think that he and Amy should have had some sort of closure on Colin as it has been mentioned, though.

Madison revealing that she was pregnant to Andy was the most shocking twist the show did.

Hmm, disagree. But I loathed that, so I'm biased. Most shocking twist for me will forever be Harold performing the abortion.

Madison also deserved a better ending.

Agree. I would have liked her to get more than a phone call. There needed to be more closure with Ephram...not romantic...but a discussion about their child.

Andy's reaction toward Nina regarding the "foot massager" was over the top.

Agreed. I felt that one was kind of silly, especially since they already did a similar one with the Penthouse magazine.

Linda was Andy's best love interest.

Disagree. Nina was, IMO. Had Andy not had children I might feel differently, but Nina loved Delia and Ephram for who they were, while Linda was willing to grow to love them because they were Andy's children. It's a subtle difference, but it was there.

Hal Sr. forcing Harold to agree to perform abortions if he wanted to take over the practice was cruel, and it was equally cruel of Edna to force him to continue it after Hal Sr. was gone.

Agree, although I also think Harold didn't have to be bound to do so by the time of "Episode 20" -- there was still a part of him that felt obligated to continue his father's legacy, even as it ran counter to his moral beliefs.

Ephram's rejection of a future in music performance was just a little too abrupt/tidy.

Agreed. Hopefully they planned to pick that up again in a S5.

They never should have gotten rid of the original credits/theme music from S1-S2.

Agreed. Season 1's mainly. Season 2 was just a mess(credit wise, imo). I get that they were pressed for time but those portraits were beautiful. I like that they did one for Stephanie too.

Amanda(for all her negatives...and positives) deserved more closure, story wise, than just staying with John in whatever city(and clinic) they were in.

I disagree. She couldn't leave the show fast enough as far as I was concerned.

Bright's bully treatment of Ephram season one was too much of a contrast to his personality in later seasons.

Agreed. Bright was such a softy later on, clearly they figured out that Chris Pratt wasn't much of the bully type.

The Sam of most of S1 was the best of the Sams.

(You know you're tired when all you can think of is a Sam question)

I disagree....I think! I kind of like Season 3 Sam who got the stitches.

Laynie was a a character that should not have been taken off the show.

Disagree. This one's kind of tough because I liked her for the most part. I do feel that she definitely deserved a better ending, but her character (along with the Harts) needed to end in order for Amy (and the show) to move on.

Jake should have been written off earlier.
