Hey all! [img]smilies/wave.gif[/img] Hope you are having a great weekend.

I have seen quite a few Alias ads at all different times of the day. Only 2 days to go! Wahoo! I have seen the stuff in the current TV Week too.

I will be watching the SAG's tomorrow too at 12pm as well.

I never liked MG in H&A and her character on Alias does nothing for me either. I am far from unspoiled as you can tell - I have just watched the latest ep from the US too. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

I saw you guys talkin bout that Alias/Jen ad on the first page of the Sunday Times TV Guide! Did you guys also see the article they had on Melissa George. Along with that one in the actual newspaper where she's wearing 'that' dress. lol.

I don't hate Lauren... well I didnt till few eps ago. Also I like Melissa George too which scares me cause I was obsessed over her like 10 years ago when she was on H&A. I actually haven't watched H&A since she left!!!

The third season of this glossy high-octance, in your face television drama starring Jennifer Garner begins this week. Fans of the show chewed their nails to the bone after last seasons dramatic finale when it was revealed that gorgeous agent Sydney Bristow (Garner) had gone missing for 2 years with no memory of the incident. SHe awoke in Hong Kong to discover the love of her life, CIA handler Vaughn (Michael Vartan) had married. Whats more, her dad had been sent to prison, her mate Will was missing presumed dead and her SD-6 boss Sloane (Ron ROfkin) was running a United Nations childrens health organisation. No wonder SYdneys been a bit nutty to this point. Yes, Alias returns with a bang, It is 10 minutes of non stop action before the opening credits and within that time numerous bodies are violently dispatched as Sydney attempts to break the shackles of her long sleep. She is barely back in the CIA nest, which has a new and nasty director responsible for putting Sydneys' dad Jack (Victor Garber) in the slammer, before she and Dixon (Carl Lumbly) have teamed up for a high risk operation in France. The Carnage that ensues firstly aboard a traun and then in the shell of a building, takes US television to new levels. That said, Alias remains thrilling stuff, and Garner who has won a string of awards after just 3 seasons, is the perfect supermodel cum super spy. Our own Melissa George, Angel Brookes in Home & Away and more recenetly a guest on friends, Monk and Charmed, will join the cast in the next few weeks as sylish agent Lauren Reed, Vaughns new wife. And if that fails to whet your appetite, Ricky Gervais from The Office will be up to his old tricks playing a really horrible villain in a future episode

We hear Perth raised Hollywood star Melissa George is desperate to come back to Australia for the logie awards. The former Home & Away starlet, who is presently starring alongside Jennifer Garner in rthe new season of Alias, has been telling seven network affiliates and media confidants that she is keen to be a part of Australian tv's night of nights on April 18. Perhaps George main motivation is to erase her enduring 1994 Logies image- arriving in a circusesque corset, puffy skirt and brick like heels with pom pom ankle straps

After several false starts, I can finally open a fizzy drinkto celebrate Melissa Georges career taking off in LA. Its not the fact she is guest starring everywhere this year- Charmed< Friends, its that Alias has snaffed her full time. Her parents were so excited by the news they flew to LA to visit their daughter on set. Whoops, when said parents made it to LA, George was due to shoot a kinky series of sex scenes for the show. Cant you just see her protesting: "no mum, I really am on Alias, No, Dad it just looks like i'm in a porn film"

I used to hate her in Home And Away, actually i hated the show period. But i am going to give her a go in Alias. Ill make my judegment about her halfway through the season. Unlike some fans in the states who said they hated her even before one episode was aired.

That infamous sex scene of Lauren's never made it to the episode (Thank God) and I'm sure that if it did, alot of fans would be even angrier. Anyhoo, I'm glad that her name is finally revealed on this thread, I was getting tired of calling her 'Melissa's character'. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Speaking of MG and Alias, she's on the front cover of today's Sydney Morning Herald TV Guide with the title "By George, she's done it". [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] It was a photo from one of the S3 promo shots.

They talked a bit about the new season of Alias with MG in it, and they gave The Two a 4 out of 4 star rating - I personally disagree but anyways.

Regarding Lauren, I guess I don't mind her character but I actually prefer Vaughn with Sydney. [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img] Lauren's character was pretty boring until they gave her a more interesting storyline after ep 11. She's looking prettier on the show nowadays though, the eyeliner's working for her. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

I think I've blocked out the really craptastic episodes but I guess they're more interesting than other stuff on TV. *coughCharmedcough*

I saw another ad for Alias last night. It was much longer and had more than Syd's love life on it.. I do think it is funny they don't even mention JG anymore, it is all MG - it is like she is the star of the show. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]
