TV stars like Natasha Henstridge, of Species, appear in the live action cutscenes.

After three sequels of EA Game's real-time strategy blockbuster Command & Conquer (C&C), the head honcho of the evil organisation known as Nod is back.

This time, he's been given his own expansion pack called Command & Conquer: Kane's Wrath. And guess who's being called on to become his right-hand henchman?

In this iteration of the C&C franchise, you have been charged with revitalising the forces of the Brotherhood of Nod after the group was routed by the good guys, the Global Defense Initiative (GDI), in the Second Tiberium War.

As far as game-play goes, Kane's Wrath is classic C&C.

You build up your base, churn out a legion of armed troops and vehicles, and set forth to blow up anything that doesn't fly the Nod flag.

Fans of the C&C franchise will be thrilled with all the new units available to them in this expansion pack.

These include items like the Nod's Reckoner armoured personal carrier and Specter stealth artillery unit.

Those who revel in the many live action cut scenes will also get to see TV and movie stars like Natasha Henstridge (Species, The Whole Nine Yards) and Carl Lumbly (Alias) hamming it up as Kane's lieutenants.

If you get tired of playing the game in Campaign mode, you can try your hand at the Global Conquest mode.

Think of it as C&C meets Risk, the popular conquer-the-world board game.

In this turn-based mode, you pick one of the three sides in the game (Nod, GDI, and Scrin, an alien species), build bases, and churn out strike forces to take over the 'territories' occupied by your enemies.

Add the separate multiplayer mode, and Kane's Wrath will keep you glued to your mouse for quite some time.

I just checked at his IMDB resume and it looks like he did quite a bit of voice work for video games.

Looking at his resume I also realized how many of his shows I've watched over the years :eek:
