I agree. And its not her fault she fell in love with him, Sydney was dead so if anyone was to blame it should be Vaughn. Because like Sydney said, in their work nothing is what it seems, and he should have worked with Jack to find the truth.

Would someone mind filling me in on what happened between Sydney, Vaughn and Lauren last week? I missed this episode!

in regards to the accent, i still dont see the relevance of making her British, i would assume that it will come into play, in later episodes..
I still hear a trace of an Aussie accent, but only cos i can pick a fellow Aussie accent miles away __________________

Oh, I actually haven't seen her in any eps yet! I read in an interview though that they were making her keep her Australian one...but are they making her adopt a British one?

Oh good - glad to know somebody else read that. I wonder why they changed their minds?

Is her (Melissa's) accent real? What kind is it? Because I have seen her in a number of things without it. And it doesn't make sense why Lauren would just have an accent with no explanation.

Melissa's real accent is Australian, but she has put on an American accent in movies, Laurens accent is British.
I dont see why they would make Laurens British, unless it was going to come into play eventually, cos Melissa has proven she can do an American accent. There has to be a reason why she has that accent, or why wouldnt they have just made the character American [ 10-19-2003: Message edited - Jen - ] __________________

I was confused with that too lol. They said she was from a farm and her dad was senator , how does she have that accent. And also, Melissas really British??I had no idea lol really , I always heard her with an english accent.

I don't know about her and Slone. I mean look at them tonight. It doesn't look like there was any love in the room. I find it hard to beleive so far that she has any dealing with Slone. But who knows, its JJ.

No offense to you Aussies, but I'm glad Lauren is British and not Australian. Maybe she and Sark will end up connected in some way. (Long lost siblings, perhaps?) But if her dad is a Senator, then how can she be British? Did she grow up in England?
Oh, and Sloane's comments to Lauren: priceless! __________________
