I know that and it's great that she still calls him husband, but I was so confused because Irina acted so different this season. I still don't get what she meant when she said she saved Syd's baby because Syd is her daughter. Didn't make sense to me after what she said before.
But I guess the being-confused-part just belongs to Alias

I think that Irina has been written out of character for most of season 5. No way would she ever sacrifice Sydney's life over anything Rimbaldi, as bad as she wants his devices, which is why I think that they screwed up the series finale as far as that aspect is concerned.

I also think that the writers screwed up when they had her have an affair with Sloan. 2 reasons why that affair doesn't make sense: 1) didn't Sloan adore his wife Emily? and 2) an affair would have endangered her family life while she was undercover for the KGB and Irina is too much of a professional hardened soldier to risk it and weren't there times when the illusion of her marriage almost felt real to her, implying that she felt for her husband?

Which is why the writers almost redeemed themselves by implying that Nadia was Jack's daughter. Almost.

Well they showed Jack shooting the double in 4x21. That was a flashback to some point in season 3. It might have been in the middle of season 3.

I don't think the moment that she was cloned was shone on any episode of Alias, but we did learn that she was cloned ... kinda the way we learn about a lot of things in Alias.... after the fact

But we don't know for sure if she used the same technique as shown in season 2 as far as I remember.

Regarding Jack/Irina still being married: Laura Bristow was a fake, not a real person. Can a made up person marry someone and legally bound by it?

I've begun watching Season 2 again now I like seeing Irina in the show and those first interactions with her and Jack. There was so much hatred and distrust on Jack's part

I believe you are legally married if you take the vow personally, no matter which name you use.

I have no idea, really. Being legally married if you take the vow personally makes sense though.

Anyhow, no matter if they were legally married or not - they make a great pair and have awesome chemistry I think I'll have to rewatch "Passage" one of these days - that was a lot of fun
