I love Brothers & Sisters, and Ron is a great part of the show.

It seems this season is going to give him more to do. It seems Uncle Saul has a secret he's keeping...in the closet.

I know! I had the same reaction... I just couldn't believe that they were working together again

Ken, Saul having a secret? That storyline has potential for sure... I've only watched a few season 1 episodes of B&S, four or five maybe, but he comes off as someone with a few dirty little secrets

Are you enjoying the second season so far?

Ron is an awesome actor, and he does a good job playing Saul, but I just can't get over him being Sloane

Ditto.
I still can't think of him as Saul. Whenever I watch B&S I think of him as Sloane until someone calls him Saul and then I'm usually confused XD

Same here - the image of Ron playing Sloane is stuck in my head it seems

I really have to catch up on B&S soon, I've only seen the first 3 episodes so far, but thankfully I DVRed the rest

Can't wait to see what Saul is up to.

Ron was just born for this role and he'll always be Sloane to me. It's like I always think of Lena as Irina. No matter what I watch, I keep thinking 'Irina'. It's no different with Ron.

That's true about Lena, too. I have not seen her in any other roles. And honestly, it'll be the same for Victor, too

That's true

. He's perfect for the role and I can't even image anyone else in the role.

Even though I had seen Ron Rifkin in other projects before I started watching Alias Sloane will always be the character I associate with him.

I have just finished rewatching Season 1 of Alias..... I just disliked Sloane from the start. (Ron did such an awesome job playing Sloane.) He was the classic bad guy!

In the one scene where he was talking to Sark, getting him to help SD6, and was drinking that glass of wine..... ugh... the way Sloane slurped the wine and smugly told Sark that he would be joining SD6 .... typical Sloane! Made me shudder.

Sloane is the perfect person to dislike.
I almost liked him for being this dislikable.

Yeah, I mean, Ron played the part perfectly! Which is why I have a hard time seeing him in any other role.

And it's not just his acting that fit Sloane.... it was his whole look. I mean that stubble of a beard which was partly grey, his eyes, .... everything!

OMG I'm just watching that BnS episode where they celebrate Hannukah.
I already have a hard time not thinking about Ron as Sloane but as Saul but he's singing some Jewish prayer and that's totally cracking me up

I never imagined to see 'Sloane' sing. That would have been so much fun on Alias I think

I don't know but when he's acting totally funny (which is pretty normal on BnS I think) I am always reminded of the bloopers from the DVDs

To any B&S fans,

I felt bad or Saul this week when he said "he is not there father" and you could tell he meant that he never had established his own family/life aside from his sister's family.

It was actually heartbreaking to watch him say it, and Sally Field's reaction.
