| I think he's evil and always has been. But it's his love for Emily that saves his character from being a generic villain. It continues to amaze me how this monster - who was responsible for the terrible deaths of countless numbers of innocent people over the years all because of his obsession with a long dead Italian prophet - could be capable of feeling such deep love. It adds a certain depth to his character that always keeps you guessing. | |||
