On average, every board at must keep about 100 posts a week to remain open. Technically, the count is 15 posts a day, but that averages to about 100 a week.

The new post count system asks us to make an average of 15 posts a day

Basically, the system is pretty much the same as before.

Before, the mod managers would take the monthly average and divide it by 4 to see if there were at least 100 posts a week.

Now, they'll be taking the total monthly average and dividing it by the days in the month to see if we make 15 posts a day.

And they'll be doing post counts every month instead of just once or twice a year.

We can still keep a running tally of post counts a week, posting at the end of the week, on Sunday, what our daily average was.
