I enjoyed the AV club article. The comments were interesting. I forgot and now wonder about Jack being in the Alliance and all that.

Explain to me again how Syd didn't know Jack was in the CIA but was telling him in the finale that she was joining the CIA?

Do you mean the final moments of the pilot?

I'm not sure I understand the problem

Vaughn had already told her that there was a second double agent and since Jack gave her the "CIA" phone why even tell him?

And if the actual series finale: they didn't ever mention Syd knew he was CIA, did they? And Jack couldn't really tell her, since he was actually working for SD-6

Well, technically Syd was a member of the Alliance too, because she worked for SD-6

So, yes - Jack was a member even though the only one with access to the fancy round table meetings in London was Sloane - I guess it depends on your definition of "member of Alliance"

Oh okay. I guess I was thinking the Alliance was something separate of SD-6. I guess I have an excuse to watch the Pilot again!!
