ORLANDO ON SET His long-distance romance with Kate Bosworth blossoms while filming his new flick overseas. Despite the legions of female fans who camped outside Orlando Bloom’s hotel each day he spent in Spain filming Kingdom of Heaven last month, the hunk has remained true to his girlfriend Kate Bosworth. The Blue Crush actress has in turn made it her mission to be with her man as much as possible. Bloom, 27, and Bosworth, 21, who began dating after reportedly meeting last summer, are undoubtedly two of Tinseltown’s fastest-rising stars. And as a couple, they’ve recently been “practically inseparable and are very much in love,” an executive who working on Kingdom a historical crusades epic, tells Star. “They have a lot of fun, despite the girls waiting at every turn,” Billy Dowd, a casting director who worked on the movie, told Star. LADIES MAN “Orlando has been dealing with all the girls hanging around him very well,” adds Quinn Donoghue, a publicist who worked on the film. “He’s very down to earth and pragmatic, and knows the fans are only after his persona and not him.” LONG-DISTANCE LOVE For the last two months, Orlando has been filming all over Spain and Morocco, while Kate has been working in Germany on the new movie, Beyond the Sea – a Bobby Darin biopic in which Kate stars as Sandra Dec. But she has “made quite a few secret trips to the Kingdom set,” Star’s spy reports. Kate spent almost the entire month of February in Spain with Orlando. It’s an echo of their jet-setting rendezvous on the Mexican set of Troy (in which Orlando co-stars with Brad Pitt). Orlando reportedly arranged to fly Kate (first class, of course) from Los Angeles to Mexico several times, ensuring their romance stayed on track during the five-month shoot last year. She also visited him in the Cayman Islands in December 2003 for his last week of shooting the thriller Haven. While staying in one of the $1,000-a-night suites at Seville’s famous Hotel Alfonso XIII, the gorgeous young couple hit the city’s best restaurants each night, booking tables under a false name, to keep their dates secret. They also managed to do some sightseeing during the day. DREAM DATE To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Kate and Orlando went to dinner at the Taberna del Alabardero, a luxurious 19th century palace that also doubles as a culinary school and upscale hotel. They looked very happy,” says a waiter at the eatery. | Um... I'm sorry if I'm opening a can of worms, but I've been out of the loop for a while and... Well I caught wind of rumours that many people think that their entire relationship is a hoax. And by 'think' I mean are utterly convinced that it's fact, as much as the sun rising in the East. I don't really care one way or another, but I was wondering where these rumours started and why people can be so sure? Sorry, Val & Xan, if I'm crossing a boundary here. | If this is an Orlando/Kate appreciation thread, count me in! Although I'm also a Star-crossed lover, I think that Orlando and Keira are too cute. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] Devi, maybe it's just me, but I don't think that their relationship is a hoax. Orlando and Kate seem to genuinely care for each other and have a great relationship. | Yeah, I think their relationship is real too. I wouldn't be surprised if he proposed one of these days either. Now, of course you never want to see the man of your dreams get married to anyone else, but honestly, how many of us would actually have a chance with him. I mean, most of us won't even get a glimpse of him in our entire lifetime, so all you can do is be happy for Orlando and wish him the best. | |||

| Well, I think for many of Orlando's female fans Kate is simply a thorn in the flesh of their one-day-we'll-meet-and-fall-hopelessly-in-love dream. I'm making generalizions, of course. I have the occacional omgilovehimso moment, too. Doesn't mean I start hating every femal who happen to cross his way. There is a reason people started to call her "It", and I can't even begin to tell you how much I despise that. I don't care if they're a couple or not. (though the article seems to me made up from bits and pieces from other sources) They at least are friends given their appearances together and the photos taken at the airport (the ones with her pouncing him - which I think are adorable). People who are so set on Orlando and Kate being a hoax, use the same arguments as the nutters who try to convince the world that Dominic and Elijah are blissfully in love because they happen to wear a certain shirt at a certain time. I like Orlando and I respect him. I don't think he'd pull some major PR stunt like a fake girlfriend. In the end: if Orlando's happy, I'm happy. Some of the pictures of them together look odd, but I can't even imagine how I'd look with a paparazzi's camera in my face. | I myself like Kate she's not the best actress but i think she's cute and seems to be down to earth from what i've seen in apperences. I think she and Orlando make quite a cute couple. And they seem happy | |||

| At first I really disliked Kate with Orlando. Probably because I felt that he could be with someone better, but my opinions have COMPLETELY changed. This couple is going strong and I am happy that Orlando is in love and has found someone who understands his busy work schedule and remains faithful through it all. Distance can ruin relationships but Orli and Kate MAKE IT WORK which shows their commitment. If you guys have seen the pictures from the Premiere at Troy-with Eric, Brad, and Orli in DROOL WORTHY SHOTS...then you probably saw some of Brad with his wife Jen. WELL what I didn't know *or saw* was that KATE WAS THERE TOO! I went to the Full Bloom website *great site for reliable sources and up to date news* and saw some scans from US WEEKLY and there is a small photo of Orli and Kate together..I was shocked! All of the photos pretty much excluded her, but to see them together really made me happy for Orli. One of their friends was quoted saying how that this relationship may be in the "PUBLIC EYE"-aka TABLOIDS, but that their relationship is amazing. That when the two of them are together, it's truly special and that YOU JUST HAVE TO SEE THEM TO BELIEVE IT. | At first I was one of those Kate-Haters to, but then I thought Why? I found that there was no reason for disliking her. | I've never really understood why people get upset when a celebrity they like starts to date someone. The chances of actually meeting Orlando Bloom are almost nil. The chances of falling in love and getting married to Orlando Bloom even more nil. I'm happy for them, they're cute. Quote:
