I never thought I'd do this.

When we first got the Orlando Bloom board, I was stoked. We had a fun, thriving community of posters who were equally interested in Orlando's hunky physique as well as his career and acting talents (or lack thereof, in some cases). It was fun, balancing romps through the Naked Starlit Forest with excitement over his new projects and worrying that he's going to tire himself.

Things aren't the same anymore.

I really don't want to pin the blame on any one person or thing, but lately, conversations don't seem to have as much invested into them as they used to. Admittedly, it's fun ogling Orlando's naked body and squealing in delight. But that was always an aside for me. These days, that's all everyone seems to discuss. Very few posters who are still here are interested in the fine details of Troy or the mixed results of The Calcium Kid, for instance.

Another thing that has been bugging me is this whole Kate Bosworth thing. I know some here don't like the idea of Orlando with Kate, but the obsession with this topic - specifically making sure Kate is never seen with Orlando, or something - is quite off-putting.

Okay, I'm finding it harder to think clearly here, so I might as well say it and end all this: I'm stepping down as moderator of the Orlando Bloom board. I'll still drop by every now and then, contributing to conversations and drooling to new pictures, but it won't be as moderator.

I suppose that it's best for me to end this now. I've noticed that my interest and post rate here have been slipping. So... this is goodbye.

I'm really going to miss having you as my co-mod Xan. I couldnt think of a better person to have spent the last couple of years sharing the responsibility with.

Its been fun, but I understand why you want to step down. I really hope you'll continue to visit regularly though, it wont be the same without you.

I think I know where you're coming from, and I totally understand. But in my mind, the mod's will always be you and Vali (no disrespect to the new mod, good luck to everyone that applies ) I went to the Male Celebrities bit today, and for OB moderator it just said Vali. I went WTF?? Bit of a shock to the system!

Hee, the ViggOrli thread will always be special to me. I remember hinting strongly for that until someone finally made it.
