in response to Brit on that last one, yes the whole cocky thing was ugh, I myself don't like cocky. Self-confidence is one thing, but he didn't convey it like that

No no...he was cocky....why are guys cocky? Like you said, confidence is one thing....but the whole arrogance is just completely something else...

I was talking to this guy who's been sending me messages on Facebook and I asked, "Do I detect some arrogance?" and he said, "No...just confidence."
I'm sorry...but there's a difference!

Oh and why do people say David Yates is doing a good job with the Harry Potter movies? He's screwing them up (the most important ones) in my opinion

I mean I cant stand poorly adapted books, unless its like P&P that even though they left things out the story goes relatively unchanged

chris, ohh...with p&p'05, ALOT of people would beg to differ. fans of 95 are all, "story is NOT p&p!"

yes I know, and respect that, but its a mooooovie, you cant fit every detail and Joe didn't want to make it a carbon copy of every movie that had already been made. I respect that the BBC mini-series was awesome and true to the film, being so long allows that

but for a 2 hr movie I loved the adaption and thats that I love the book and am usually quite a stickler for it, even on Atonement I had a qualm with the arrest scene, and thats that that was a brilliant adaption.

I think some people are just like, oh if I like Matthew's Darcy it somehow lessens how much I like Colin's and thats ridiculous!
