Arrows Reunited #512: The Arrows Define OT: Discussing Your Underwear, Not Orlando's

Hee. I had to change the phrasing a zillion times to make it fit. Also, I am tired and incoherent, so go ahead and change it if it's lame.

Thx for the new thread!

I'm going to renovate my room next week. I'm still living with my parents and my brother moved in June, so I can use his room as well. I'll get new wallpaper and wall to wall carpet, a new cupboard...I'm so excited! My room will be the bed romm and his old my new living room.

That's awesome! Have fun with that. My mom re-painted my brother's room this summer. (Glad I was in summer school) His favorite college basketball team is the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Tar Heels) so she painted his walls the color of their team and trimmed it in another of their colors. It's cute, though, I dont like them. Have fun!

Britt, I've finished uni for the year so for the moment I'm lazing about, but I've got to get on with finding a casual job and deciding what the heck I'm gonna do next year.

Am, that damn holiday, which is somewhat fun but has no history here except on The Simpsons, is taking over our country. Grrr. great disappointment for kids who come trick or treating though, seeing as how no-one has lollies for them

Hee. All the middle aged ladies at work went all out for Halloween. It's so CUTE. Plus, Nov 1 (like Febnruary 15 and the week post-Easter) is Half-Price Chocolate Day. I love these mass candy-based holidays

Not fair! Urgh! Oh well. I'm transferring after Christmas. Maybe you'll have better luck with the job hunting than me!

Am: I didnt go trick or treating but supposedly where I go to school is like really popular at Halloween. Something about it was in Playboy Magazine as one of the hottest Halloween spots in the country or something like that. So we went downtown. I'm gonna post a picture of me and my friends so y'all can see it! we had a blast!

See, that would make it worth adopting Halloween in this country.

Ah, finally some time.

Zel, I LOVE the title. And yeah, here in LA Halloween is as much an adults holiday as it is for the children. The teens especially love it seeing as it's an ocassion to dress (or as is the case, undress) like a prostitute and have an excuse. It's amusing how many of the outfits for that age group have the word "sexy" in front of it. Sexy nurse. Sexy devil. Sexy...nun?

Sanni, ooh, renovation is always fun.

Tangerine: Poor kids. Although I have ranted several times already on how the kids here have absolutely no manners (don't say Thank You or even, hell, "Trick or Treat!" anymore, and a lot don't dress up -- they just knock, hold out a bag, leave -- pisses me the hell off). My train was really late last night and really slow as I rode it because kids kept throwing eggs at it and the conductor had to keep stopping to wipe the eggs off. So point being, sometimes, kids just don't deserve lollies.

Britt: Sounds like you had a blast! Off to look at photo now!

Lol the 'sexy' prefix is the most fun part of Halloween! Although, last year I was simply dressed as a zombie bridesmaid. No sexy prefix, but it was a pretty lowcut dress. Actually, negligee Whatever. No, there's not pictures.

Damn meddling kids.

Did you ever post photos of that? It sounds similar to my outfit last Halloween!

(Also, the sexy prefix is only fun when hot teenagers/20 somethings utilize it. Not when 50 year olds who think they're 20 do the same.)

That is so true...thankfully, I didnt see any 50 year olds dressed like that. I think one of the funniest costumes I saw this year in the store was the "thank you, father" costume. It was a pregnant nun. We picked on my friend Ashley about it b/c she's such a goody goody (which isnt a bad thing at all!) And of course, there was a guy dressed up as an inflatible penis.......but other than that, I saw a lot of cute costumes. One guy dressed up as the Jolly Green Giant. He painted himself as all green and painted his boxers green and put collards over his boxers...it was cute...
