Since we are always welcoming new True Lovers to our home, I'm going to post this information here so that everyone will know. The reason our counter is by snails dates back to the episode Modern Romance in Season 1. Pacey and Joey were assigned an extra credit project involving the mating habits of snails. Pacey tried to create a snail menage a trois and the snails all died. So, they had to go out into the creek to collect more. At the end of that day, Pacey kissed Joey for the first time. So, we decided to use snails as our counter. Got it? Good. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Well, it's been a while since we played the barnacle game so why don't we do that? Remember, I'll post an episode and someone else will post their favorite scene, quote, song, something about the episode and why they loved it.

Just a few reminders:
Please do not �star� post, meaning, a post to just say hello, goodnight, or anything like such. Please refrain from posting big long pieces of scenes, with lots of dialogue in a row, on the same page. In addition, keep the number of pics per post to a minimum in order to conserve server space. Also, please do not post the same pic on the same page or quote pics throughout the snail. If someone has already posted the pic you were going to post, just mention that in your post, especially if the pic is on the same page. We can just look on the page and see what you�re referring to. Also, please do not bring over comments from D/Jo fans or arguments from other threads over here to the snail. This is the place to have fun and enjoy P/Jo, not to bash another couple. Thanks!

Okay as for topic starter here is one of my favorite quotes that Pacey says near the end of the episode to Joey:

If you felt even one shred of what I feel for you, then we wouldn't be standing here having this conversation.

The reason I love this so much is that is just expressed all of these emotions that Pacey was feeling and you could just tell that he had fallen completely in love with her, and he was terrified that she did not feel the same way about him. I think another reason I love it so much is that him saying this and the emotion he put into it is what undoubtedly led her to grab his hand and initiate a kiss with him finally. *sigh* I just love that whole scene so much, I just watched the episode again on Thursay actually!

Hi, all! New here, but I gotta join in on the fun!! My favorite scene/quote from this episode:

"Jo, you can't say something like that to me and expect me not to kiss ya. So that's what I'm gonna do, in about ten seconds..."

I love that scene because it's the first time Joey out and out admits that she's been having feelings for Pacey and the look of hope on his face is just sigh-inducing. Then, he goes into the above quote, which starts out kinda funny, but by the time he gets to "ten" and kisses her....swoon...

I [img]smilies/love.gif[/img] this episode because it's after Pacey starts to realize how much he's really in love with Joey. He goes out of his way to defend her honor, gets in trouble, and still helps her redo her mural.

Joey: Be honest. The only reason you were hanging out with me is simply because Dawson told you to?

Pacey: Yep, that's the only reason.

LOL, ok, I'm obviously a bit confused, because the person before me didn't leave a new "barnacle" so I thought it kept going. Now, ack (looking up), no barnacle to hang my thought on, either, so I'll start anew:

Failing Down

I love and adore Pacey's whole "you wrecked me" speech, but the truly clincher to that scene was Joey's line:

"I'm not going anywhere without you."

I loved it because it was just so crystal clear that Pacey was what she wanted and she was willing to work through any problems to insure they'd always be together.

Joey was a bitch for most of this episode, but she made up for it at the end. I loved her, Pacey and little Alex sitting together, like a family, when she finally let Pacey help her and study for the test. Pacey was such a sweetheart in this episode, too, when he went to Joey's teacher and asked for her to be able to take the test over. Aww! Love him.

Coming Home had 2 of my Favorite scenes for PJ in the very begining and very end.

Joey: You know what continually amazes me, Pacey?

Pacey: What's that?

Joey: How long you've lasted without being thrown off this boat.

Pacey: Well finally. There's something we can both agree upon.

and...
Joey: Hey Pacey?

Pacey: Hmm?

Joey: Do you think we can do that thing that we do sometimes?

Pacey: You wanna do that thing? Yeah.

Why I loved it: The episode it's self just showed how much joey and Pacey had really fallen for eachother over the summer and how truely perfect they really were for eachother...they just completed eachother and that frist episode of Season 4 showed that, I feel it really way perfect for the start of their Real relationship.

Hey guys!!!!! I havent been here in a WHILE, but I was listening 2 music and "Running" by No Doubt came on, and that totally reminded me of a video that Sugz made to that song (which was beautiful by the way), and it totally got me thinkin about Pacey and Joey, and I miss them!!! I gotta bust out the season 3 tapes again! [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] Its good 2 see you guys are still keeping the [img]smilies/snail.gif[/img] up! I'll play the barnacle game!

I loved how all throughout Cinderella Story all the AJ/Morgan stuff kept on relating to Pacey and Joey, especially the poem about how love unspoken can be the loudest sound of all. I think deep down Joey really knew that she had an unspoken love for Pacey. And of course the kiss at the end was so exciting, something I had been waiting for for so long!! I [img]smilies/love.gif[/img]ed how when Joey told Pacey that he really knew her he pulled the car over, that was classic!! "I dont wanna talk anymore...." [img]smilies/sigh.gif[/img] You just GOTTA love those two.

Well, Tao of Dawson didn't have much Pacey and Joey scenes, but the one at the end, but I still liked this episode and you could still feel the love Joey and Pacey have for each other. Pacey has a chance to cheat on Joey, but he won't do that to her. Drue kisses Joey and she rejects him and she says all these wonderful things about Pacey just because she wants to.

Drue: So where's your beau this evening? Is he gonna be frantically checking hospitals for you?

Joey: He's on a road trip with his sister.
