[2x17] "Psychic Friends" October 4th - October 11th
The Official Dawson's Creek Board Rewatch Thread "Psychic Friends" ~ 2x17 Synopsis: Dawson's confidence as a filmmaker is shaken when Miss Kennedy, the new film teacher, turns out to be a movie studio executive on sabbatical in Capeside, who gives his amateur movie a scathing review. The future is unsure for Joey as well, when a psychic advises her to be open to every new opportunity that crosses her path. Andie also visits the psychic and is told less than positive things about her future. We would like to invite everyone to participate in our re-watch, be it first-time viewer or long-time fan. This is our opportunity to relive the Dawson's Creek days and to discuss our favorite moments, things we would like to change or maybe totally new things we never noticed before. We will watch one episode every two weeks. Due to our different time-zones we decided to not name an exact time and date, so everyone can decide for themselves when they watch the episode. We will update this thread every second Friday, when we start a new episode, so all discussion can take place in here too. Have Fun! __________________

I really liked this episode. I still remember shocked I was at the end to see Joey's dad standing on the porch.

The ending was so great, especially with that Lisa Loeb song playing in the original.
I also liked Nick Stabile's guest appearance. __________________

I love how Joey thought that photographer was into her, but he was actually into Jack.

That was really sweet of Jen to give her that makeover. The fun times they have together. So sweet.

Jen and grams have some of my favorite moments on the show. The makeover was one of my favorite ones.

Good episode, I remember this one clearly as well.
Love Pacey/Andie as a couple still. Jen/Grams were great to watch, I enjoy them so much more now that they get along. Joey is so frustrating! Telling Dawson she needs to find herself but then trying to hook up with a new guy. Girl is confused! I was glad he turned out to be gay actually and that he was interested in Jack, too cute. The teacher/Dawson plot was strange and I felt she was a bit too harsh. __________________

I liked the Joey/Jack friendship in this episode and I also enjoyed Joey's brief modelling segment, it just makes you realize how beautiful a girl she is.
Pacey was adorable as per usual and I felt bad for Andie when she didn't get what she wanted out of the Psychic and the way Pacey called the psychic lady on that. Some fans think that there is a little foreshadowing when Joey gets her reading from the Psychic about a tall, dark and handsome boy coming into her life and that it had nothing to do with photographer guy. And to be honest, I don't even remember what Dawson's storyline was for this episode. __________________
