| I love that scene between Pacey and Jen. I feel so bad for her because Joey is once again chosen over her, but that conversation is just so powerful. You see her frustration about Joey and yet her relief that their relationship is over. And I hadn't realized it until I was making this last vid and then read this scene but Dawson and Pacey really do seem to sever ties this season even before The Longest Day. Pacey starts going to Doug, Jen, and obviously Joey more. They are still "best friends" but they start gravitating towards other people, probably because Joey is now his girl Friday. What's funny is that neither of them seem to notice. Andie even makes a few comments about Joey and Pacey throughout the season and knew Pacey well enough that she should have spotted it and she doesn't either. Everything is going well until it doesn't and then it's a train wreck. It's funny how people do that. And the only one that saw it coming was Jen, the girl that everyone bags on and then comes to for advice and support. __________________ you have stolen my icon by Katie | |||

| I love that conversation of Pacey and Jen too but for a whole different set of reasons.  Still, it speaks to Jen's character and how much she was willing to support a love she saw between two of her very best friends. She encouraged and supported them both. Yes, Pacey and Joey would have come to a head without her little nudges, but I don't think it would have come that soon. I think once she accepted it, it made it okay for both of them to accept it. In TLD, they were both definitely struggling with their relationship because they both seemed to want it but I don't think that they felt like it was okay for them to want it. Then, they each talked to her, and she made it okay for them. I've noticed recently how much I think Pacey and Joey want it to be okay. I think they both know that there's nothing wrong with being in love. Joey's even upset that Dawson tells her they can't date. As much as she knows that he won't be okay with it, she's still surprised that he is (The Longest Day). In the same episode, Pacey is also surprised by how it plays out. I think it finally starts fostering resentment towards Dawson because they could be happy if he would let them. | ali, those pics are so cute. I love the way Joey's smiling in the second on after she sees Pacey leave Andie subtley hints at it. In Secrets and Lies, she sounds all jealous when Joey says her and Pacey had breakfast together before she said he was helping her with the B and B. You know what Andie was thinking At Thanksgiving, she says "you and Pacey have gotten close lately" or something. | Aww, yeah i love when she walks in to her dorm is all "Hey you!" all affectionately. She hadn't seen him all summer and there he was.
