I started watching Dawson's Creek back in 2005. When I started watching the show I randomly joined this forum, where members encouraged me to start a thread giving my opinions as I saw everything for the first time. I was about 98% unspoiled.

Now... 15 years later I am going back and watching my favorite teen drama shows. I have in the last week started with Dawson's Creek (my 2nd full watch through), and it made me think of my old thread. Sadly, due to this board not allowing me to look at my old posts, I can't find all the archived threads.

Unfortunately, my mom started watching the show with me while I was in season 4, prompting me to go back and watch the previous 3 seasons with her. Once we got back to the point where my reviews left off, I had forgotten about the thread. I now wish I had finished my thoughts on each episode.

I now want to go back and read my thoughts as I am rewatching the episodes 15 years later. I want to see how my opinions have changed. Maybe hold some discussion with the people still on here.

I am currently on season 2 episode 5. This is just slightly later than where my reviews started.

Some general thoughts....

- When I first watched the series I completely identified with Dawson. Now when I watch the series I find him to be very whiny.

- I disliked Pacey the first time I watched. I am disliking Pacey this time too. If I remember correctly, I just found him annoying the first time. Now I see him as someone who creates his own problems -- the very thing they all accuse Dawson of doing.

- During the first watch I felt sorry for Mitch. This time I feel like he is the one not trying.

- Was it out of character for Pacey to let Tamara go after season 2 episode 4? This time it seems like he grew up in the span of one episode, then went back to his old ways.

- My mom used to tell me that Jen is mean to grams. I didn't like grams. This time watching I like her.

I logged into the site and seen that I had not logged on since 2008. I know I was posting in some other boards back in the day, but I can't remember which ones. Again.. I wish I could access my old posts.

I'm watching on average two episodes a day. Two things that seem to be consistent with my original watch is that the show really doesn't pick up until the Full Moon episode. I always loved Discovery and the season 1 finale,, but nothing seems to really hook you in with season 1.
