I agree that them dating in the past added to the chemistry. It's also cool they clearly trusted each other, it had to be crazy doing all that kissing after they broke up though lol. Again though, they were clearly comfortable with each other and it's another thing showing what great actors they are.

I get the feeling that Katie was very much into Josh, so that probably made it even easier and of course Josh is just good at everything, so that helps.

No problem haha. Their real life relationship prob meant they have a level of intimacy she prob Diddnt have with any other actor. Thing with DC. Was how They Diddnt rush relationships. And the other couples Diddnt feel toxic or an interference to say J and P. Usually I would be like oh she’s getting back with that person. Arghhh I like her with person A lol. But DC things just happened organically. Due to the writing. That is why when J and P ended up together. It was bold. But also felt right.

you make a good point. The way she kissed Pacey in season 6 compared to Eddie and Dawson was night and day

I just love the passion they have. They are so into their kisses, they moan, they have their hands all over each other like they can't get enough, putting their hands through the others hair, Pacey always picking her up, etc. I even love the hand and forehead kisses, those are just precious. I just love all of that, Pacey and Joey have so much chemistry in many different ways. The other couples just didn't have that at all. Pacey and Joey were lightning in a bottle, and the best thing to happen to DC.

What you think of Eddie? I think he inspired her to pursue a publishing career. Did she truely love him? I Diddnt like how she got back with Pacey in Season 5. Only to dump him for Eddie. Of course she eventually broke up with Eddie. Of course in 2008 on the timeline 5 years in the future. J and P reconcile. Last shot of the show is Them watching Dawson’s new show.

I did not like Eddie at all. I found him annoying and abrasive and condescending. He was nothing like what some folks say was a combination of Pacey and Dawson. And any "banter" Joey might have had with him was not enjoyable to watch.

Especially dumping Pacey for him. But I think Joey chose Eddie because she knew it wouldn't last and she wasn't risking her heart like with Pacey.

I’m rewatching the show I’m half way through S4. But from what I’ve read. Possibly out of fear? She could never let herself go full measure with Pacey. Of course after their break up at Prom. I guess Eddie too pushed her into publishing. They were planning on going away for the summer (seemed to be Joeys thing with new boyfriends). But it seemed Eddie saw her as this kid.

But from what I remember of the guy from recollection. This is like over a decade ago lol. I recall him being very abrasive and manipulative. Joey and Pacey had that night together. Then Joey pushes Pacey away. When Eddie returns. Pacey thinks it’s because she’s scared of where it’s going. Like she always did. I think he’s right. Eddie seemed the type of guy that he charming etc. Like a tornado. When everything settled by the end it’s Pacey she truly wanted. I guess we’ll never know why exactly in S6. She choose Eddie over Pacey. But those are just my thoughts.

Pretty much, he was the safe choice cause he couldn't hurt her like her intense love for Pacey could. When Pacey broke up with her, it pretty much devastated Joey so she took the easy way out and ran so she wouldn't possibly get hurt again. With Pacey, she felt things she's never felt before and that made her scared to take the plunge in S3 as well. To be honest, I literally don't remember anything about Eddie. I haven't watched S5 and 6 in years cause I thought both seasons sucked (except for the S6 episodes where P/J reunited of course) He was such a nonentity to me (and Joey) The first four seasons are the seasons I remember the most. The last two suck IMO.
