I already hate triangles, and the Joey/Dawson/Jen triangle was even worse. Especially when Jen was degrading herself in S2 to get Dawson back, blech!

I just think the Dawson/Joey/Pacey triangle worked better because it developed over time and the viewers were invested and knew the characters by then.

I agree. Even though I never really liked the Pacey/Joey/Dawson triangle either (cause triangles are just messy most of the time) it did have a little juiciness cause all three of them grew up together. In the other triangle, they just met Jen. I've always hated triangles more if it's two women fighting over a guy, they usually have both act embarrassing and degrading for one guy that's not worth it. The Joey/Dawson/Jen triangle was no exception to that either, especially on Jen's end *shudders*
