prom episode season 3....if im not mistaken. the premiere too they did. It shows she will awlays have feelings for dawson, I don't care what anyone says anymore. The feelings are always going to be there. She agonizes over who hes with.

I honestly wish I liked P/Jo more because their relationship was so prominent and a lot of people ship them, but for me, I just really admire Kevin Williamson's original intention - that the show was always supposed to focus on Dawson and Joey.

Yeah, and I love Pacey as a character. I actually like his friendship with both Dawson and Joey so much that any romance he has with Joey effs it up and just doesn't fit with me.

I love after Dawson and Joey have made love in 6x02 and they're about to have their big fight so everyone clears out, and Pacey says semi-sarcastically, "Happy birthday, Jo!" LOL.

I actually had watched S1-2, then got busy with life and came back in S5, therefore I missed Pacey and Joey. And when I saw how great he was as Joey's friend in the S6 premiere, I just couldn't believe it. They were so much more believable as friends. Geez.

Did Kevin Williamson ever explain why he changed course?

Kevin said he wanted to show that soulmates are forever but not necessarily on the romantic side, that was his excuse imho Jen/Jack were perfect to show this

WileyDairyGnome I would have admired him even more if he had stuck with his idea that Joey and Dawson belong together and are endgame I'm glad his mother hates him for that PJo ending haha

Yes this. DJ was always there for each other. Joey is so much more fun as a character.

Watched "...That is the Question" a few nights ago and DJo were so great in that one. I like how Dawson gave Joey romantic advice even though he's clearly not over her. He did it to help her, to be her friend, and no other reason. That was just so sweet and so Dawson. I think she appreciated that as well. I also liked their dance and those intense looks, "What are my eyes saying now?" It was obvious she knew he wasn't over her and she wasn't over him but neither of them were ready to say it aloud. And I like how he encouraged her when she felt insecure about Jack, telling her that he sees her blossoming every day and that he was stupid not to see it in s1.

DJo had some bad moments/storylines but overall prefer their story/dynamic. They'll always be the heart of the show, imo. Everyone is welcome to ship and let ship, but for me this show will always be about DJo. And the ending doesn't make any real sense to me but DJo felt like forever regardless. "In some strange way, it's always going to be you and me." "Always." Those are some powerful words and don't really evoke eternal friendship in my eyes.

That's for sure. I've made peace with the ending because it always came back to them no matter what. So it's just a matter of time before it circled back around to them again.

I love the picture she has of dawson. He's always been there. like when joey finds out pacey is failing through dawson. best ep for them. or when you will always have a piece of my heart. the kiss in season 3 at antiprom.
