I watched the beginning of season six, wow.

I am more of a major PJer but love DJo very much too. They were so beautiful in the beginning of the season and then the actress called. My heart broke for both of them. You can tell this has been a dream for both of them for so long and it was finally coming true, they were finally just going to be together and she got scared, like she tends to do a lot. I got what Dawson was saying about the past and I got what she was saying - it was heartbreaking.

But I didnt take any of their kisses or beautiful moments for granted.

My favorite were when they danced ( I love when couples dance), when he gave her the rose and they layed in bed together, when they made love, and when they had drank and sat together. So beautiful.

The scene at the movie set when they sort of said goodbye broke my heart. For one second I wanted them to just run away together and just be together - but reality is there. They will always be there for each other in some way though.

Oh yeah, when she comes to deliver the food? The name of that episode escapes me at the moment. It really is heartbreaking, though. It's like you can tell there's so much more they want to say to one another, but don't. You're right though...they will always be there for each other.

And when the whole school reads Joey's email, but not him and we find out that he is writing an email to her too - but shell never read it. There are so many lost words between them, so much that needs to be said and wanted to be said - and it isnt. And that IS heartbreaking.

I don't have a problem with Karen's avie Jess, I just didn't know she liked them romantically.

I don't but I loved their friendship a whole lot and didn't mind their romance in s5. And thanks about my icon, Cris makes the best ones.

Hey Courtney.

I like to hear your thoughts on it, I always picture the DJo relationship being like it was for most of 602. It was just so simple and glowy, beautiful.

I think Joey is just too cynical sometimes for her own good. She had Dawson on this ridiculous pedestal and when he made a mistake, how far and hard he'd fall from her good graces. It's the only real gripe I have about DJo, just that they never could make it work...though the writers admitted they just kept them apart to keep up the drama so in a way I blame that on them. If we weren't going to have DJo at the end, we should've at least gotten them in a relationship again. But if nothing else, I'm glad they still had each other in the end in whatever capacity you consider it to be. After all they went through, I'm glad they still cared that deeply about each other, in an "always" kind of way. That transcends relationships for me and it gave a sense of permanence that in a way is satisfying for me as a fan.

I wish they could of been in a relationship for a little bit too. I mean season five was dealing with their feelings and waiting for each other and they finally get to be together, for real, and then it ends so quickly. I am also glad that they have this "always" connection and that no matter what it will be there. I understand why they could never work, but like you - a lot of that is the writers fault. But 601/602 was a beautiful episode for them. They really do have a beautiful relationship on so many levels.

Nic, I didn't liked D/Jen is S1 and wasn't really fond of them in S5, my inner DJer would never let me majorly ship Dawson with anyone but Joey. but I love the DJen friendship and now, given how things ended for DJ, I'm left with a newfound appreciation of DJen. Plus I needed a DJen avi to go with my sig, which is for the DJen video I made. I know lots of DJen references, but I still love DJ. DJo are number 1 for me.

Maddie, I think it's Instant Karma. And they WILL always be there for each other, no matter who they are with in a romantic way.

Ohhh, I'm causing some controversy

As i said, it's really to go with my new video. If I had a choice between DJ or DJen, then it's always going to be DJ. No question. I think there were some lovely moments that Dawson and jen had together in season 5, that I wished Dawson shared with Joey. And I will always hate how the writers went about keeping DJ apart, putting Dawson with Jen, in order to keep them apart and then breaking up DAwson and joey, just cuz the season finale was looming and we MUST have the Dawson and Joey, will-they-or-won't-they.

Courtney - Again, glad to hear your thoughts. Like you said, the fact that DJ were never really given a chance to work was because the writers never gave them a chance to. I'm of the belief that if they had been given as much time in Season 5 or 6 as PJ were in Season 4, they would've worked beautifully and proven a lot of people wrong about them.

I know what you mean Karen, I enjoy other Dawson ships for what they're worth, but DJo are my ultimate pairing for each character, for sure.

They just have something deep and beautiful about them yet tortured that appeals to me. I think they could be happy, beautifully happy like they were in most of 602--Joey just has to get past her issues and expectations about Dawson and men in general first.

Nic, I think 601 and 602 were wonderful in that they showed us that DJ had the potential to be truy happy. We saw how sweet they could be together and I guess we'll always feel that it would have been nice if we'd been given the chance to see DJ fighting to stay together through everything.
