I think it would've made fans so much happier if they ended up together. Now they were both 'alone' and they shouldn't have been.

I would have loved these two to end up together. While I admit, I wasn't a huge fan of them originally, their relationship in season 5 was amazing.

^ Same here. I didn't ship them originally, but now it just makes a lot of sense. They had a really sweet relationship in Season 5, and in the finale when she died, and Dawson had that flashback of her getting out of the cab, it's just.... Ugh. It should have been.

It really should have been them together at the end. They both helped each other grow and regardless were always there for each other.

I completely agree. Originally I didn't ship because they were so different back then, but in season 5 they had grown into their own and they just worked together. I really wish they had gotten their happy ending.

I agree with that completely. In season one I didn't really ship them, because truth be told I found them boring together as a couple. By season two they were growing a stronger bond as friends and I really started to love them together. She was there for him the most I think out of anybody.

So true, I love their friendship in Season 2. Jen taught Dawson how to let loose and have fun and to be wild sometimes. Meanwhile, Dawson was also good for Jen because all she really needed was a friend by her side. I think that's why she got herself into so much trouble, because she went by what her "friends" (Abby for example) were doing. She needed a good friend like Dawson (and later Jack) to help her stay grounded and become a better person.

I think after seeing how good their friendship was together in Season 2 made their relationship in Season 5 make so much sense.

They made each other better people She made Dawson a bit more fun, a bit less serious while Jen became more in control of herself and grew from a troubled teen into a strong woman.

They truly were meant to be. The progression of their relationship was beautifully done. I think it's time for a re watch.

I agree so much with this statement. Dawson looked better, and annoyed me less in seasons 4 and 5.
