I loved S2 b/c thats when Meredith and Kerr joined the cast and S2 was also Pacey/Andie realationship. It was also really the turning around of Pacey's character. For most of S2 D/J were not together and you know I loved that!

I agree that the Pacey/Andie relationship and the additions of Meredith and Kerr were the two best things about Season 2. (The music was another reason why it was so amazing.)

Meredith and Kerr were definitely the best addition to the show. At first, I didn't like Jack for obvious reasons, but when he became Jen's friend, I started to like him...
And Andie, I've always loved her since the first scene. She and Pacey had this amazing chemistry since the beginning... I love them! And in season two, even with the break-up, DJ had a strong connection, which didn't make me so mad like I did in season 3. __________________

Meredith and Kerr were amazing, because usually new additions to any show bring it down. This wasn't the case with Andie and Jack. They were just two more breaths of fresh air and Season 2 wouldn't have been half as good without them.

I agree; Jack and Andie were awesome additions to the cast. They are definitely a part of what expanded the world of DC from the microcosm that it was in season one (although it was a great microcosm and DC's strongest season, in my opinion) and really added a breath of fresh air to the show. Andie's optimism in the face of adversity was a relief from the jaded, sardonic nature of the other main characters, and Jack's quirkiness and sweetness made him a great friend for Jen (which she genuinely needed). The other new characters never really did the same thing for me; I never totally warmed up to Audrey as a main character, although she did largely rescue season five. The season six characters bored me, frankly. But Jack and Andie managed to be added to the cast and genuinely bring something to the mix instead of seemingly like random new people added to expand storylines.

I know what you mean. It was as if the additions of these two characters were planned from the beginning.

It was great to Meredith and Kerr joining!!! Andie was such a great character and I really wished she hadn't left in Season 4. Like ChrisBR, I initally disliked Jack because he came between D/J. Well sort of. But I did grow to like the Joey/Jack relationship in Season Two and I felt sorry for Joey when Jack revealed he was gay. But I just knew that would lead to some more D/J action so I was okay with that
Pacey/Andie relationship was sweet, loving and mature. I really liked the relationship between them and still believe Andie and Pacey are meant to be __________________

Back in 1998 I remember reading that a brother/sister duo was joining the cast and I was thrilled right away. This new dimension to an already incredible show just sounded very promising, and it didn't disappoint.

Pacey and Andie were just incredible this season. I also loved the D/J moments like Kiss The Rain.

"Kiss the Rain" scene is one of the most amazing moments of DC in my opinion.
But aside romantic moments, we had funny ones, like Dawson and Andie's blues or when they were in the bathroom... We had also the first time Pacey and Andie met and the other scenes between them in "The Kiss". I miss season 1 and 2... __________________
