Dawson's Creek - This quote is driving me crazy

I hope I'm allowed to just start this thread, I'm not sure where else to post it...hope I'm not breaking any rules!
I remember hearing this quote, I'm pretty sure Joey said it, but I can't think of the rest of it or from what episode. I'm thinking it was something she said to Dawson.
OK...it was something about "how people stop needing each other like they used to, it's kind of sad" -- SOMETHING ALONG THAT LINE! Anyone know what I'm talking about?
