Well, I'm clearly not ok, this is it, I think I'm gonna refrain from visiting this thread from now on, cause when you love both Pacey and Dawson equally and can't stand PJo like me, it is really frustrating to read, to say the least, so I'm gonna let you post hurtful things about Dawson all together, have fun guys

Me too, I've been interested in new fans thoughts on the show since hearing it was going to Netflix. They ain't ready for S3! lol.

Sorry cyndie57. I too like both of them and I feel Dawson gets a lot of criticism. This Thread should focus on appreciating Pacey and not comparing him to Dawson. I hope we can all try to keep this Thread welcoming for everyone, especially knowing how divided the fans can be.

Hi All,

I am a new fan to FF. I do have to admit that I have a preference for Pacey in the PJ ship (user name) above all other pairings on the show, and I don't really like Dawson, but I will try to stick to Pacey in general as he was by far my favourite on the show!

I immediately knew Pacey was my favourite character from season 1, but I must admit that season 3 is my faovurite Pacey season. I also really like the early part of season 4 as well. I am very disappointed in his season 5 storylines, although I still loved his character in every season.

S3 is my favorite season, but I also agree it's the best Pacey season. I love that he looked out for Joey when she needed someone, bought Joey a wall, was a good big brother to that boy, kicked that one guy's ass when he destroyed Joey's mural, showing most of the season how selfless he is so Joey can be happy, making the True Love boat that he and Joey ultimately sailed away on, etc. I love S4 as well, but the latter end to it is horrible, especially for how Pacey was being isolated from the main cast suddenly. I remembered hating S5 and usually don't rewatch it, so I don't really remember much of what happened in it (The only things I remember were D/J trying to make it work again and it went nowhere as usual, Mitch dying SMH, Dawson/Jen's relationship, and Dawson losing his virginity to her. That's it lol) S6 wasn't much better but I liked that Pacey and Joey reunited for a bit then ultimately ended up together but like most TV shows, the high school seasons (S1-4) were the best seasons. A lot of shows lose something when the cast goes to college.

I really love Pacey and Buzz. Apart from the PJ story, Buzz was my favourite story line for him. I wish we could have had some flash forward to figure out what became of him. Plus he had his first instance of cooking with Buzz in A Cinderella Story. I think that would have been a nice season 5 story for Pacey, instead of what we got with his separation from the cast, and the Pacey/Audrey stuff.

Season 6 was an improvement for me. At least it was from Clean and Sober onwards.

Apart from his forbidden romance with Tamara, I think in S1, Pacey was mainly (and sadly) used as the main character's bff and luckily, we really got to know him better in S2

I wish we could of seen what happened to Buzz too, they should of brought him back somehow.

It was ok that Pacey was the side kick, it just made it that much sweeter when he got just as popular as the show went on. It says a lot about an actor when they come out from behind the main character and end up having a huge fan base all on their own. That is just a tribute to how great an actor Josh is and how much of a presence he has on screen. The same thing happened on Fringe as well.

I didn't like the resolution to the Tamara storyline in season 1. Pacey humiliated himself in order to save face for his abuser. I thought she should have been exposed for her actions, instead of Pacey being portrayed as a laughing stock in this town.
