Is it just me or did Josh look so much younger in S1 compared to S2? I think it was the hair and story.

He did, but I think it's because they actually filmed S1 in 1997 and it didn't air until 1998 because they filmed it before they knew it was going to get picked up by a Network. So maybe there were a few extra months before they started filming S2. Not sure of their schedule though.
